Like IP68 (when IP54/IP64 is ok) Like 1.5k 144hz Pantone display (when FHD+ 120hz is good enough) Like USB 3.1 (when 2.0 is ok for the price) Like 50W wireless charge and 10W reverse wireless (when 25W or no Wireless charge at all would have been ok with people) Like metal body sides (when plastic would have been ok) 15bands of 5G (when 11 would hv good enough) Like 50 MP Auto focus front cam (when 16MP fixed focus is ok) Like 3 mics (when 2 is enough) They are not leaving anything behind for us to complain... the pro grade cameras, 3 yrs android update, NFC... And their attention to plastic less packaging even adding fragrance to it. Only thing left for us to nitpick is the 2.2 UFS instead of 3.1 🤷🏻♂️
Well said . And it should have been better if they dropped the "pro" . Edge "30" pro outperforms this phone in terms of performance XD. This is clearly a well improved phone as a generational upgrade .

Don't worry about that, it was a dealbreaker even for me so I checked it's speed on different channels and on an offline store aswell, motosl's optimisation is very well, it performs better than 1+ and Iqoo's ufs3.1. it may change in the future with updates aswell.

And for what else do you even need high storage speed. ufs 2.2 is good for up to 10 Gbit
Nahh bro I won't recommend you OnePlus. My sister is using Nord CE 3 and I Nord 3 and both are pathetic CE 3 lags even in the basic usage and mine, well it's a fabulous phone until it comes to the battery. I have to charge it twice a day still it doesn't last. 3-4hrs of screen on time that too on very light usage. So my call for OnePlus would be NO

Yes! For the full review. I have had the edge 40 neo for a couple of months now. There are huge number of users who have problems receiving notifications on moto phones. The reddit sub and lenovo forums also have multiple posts around this. Please try to cover this in the full review

File sharing with USB (windows)is not working in Moto edge 50 pro. In windows it's showing "driver not available". Moto's built in app 'Ready For' supports file sharing but it's via wifi so the speed is very poor compared to USB 3. Please make a video on this issue. Also the ready for app is full of bugs and crashes most of the time.
I wish they would launch this in the Philippines. Samsung is the more popular brand here, but with the green line issue over the last generations flagships, many people are swayed away from them, including myself.
Motorola is steadily improving very much. Only things i would personally point out as a user of a Motorola phone is the use of UFS 2.1 and very late software updates.
I use a Motorola Edge 40 neo and my experience with it has not been great. Numerous issues but the most frustrating is the WhatsApp notification issue. WhatsApp calls don't come through, only the missed call notification shows up after. Extremely disappointed 😢😢

I have moto edge 40 and the battery gives me a solid 5½ hrs of SOT with heavy usage including all day data, location, Bluetooth and max brightness. Indoors with wifi, I get 7½-8 hrs of SOT
Old snapdragon or Dimensity if and only if Motorola chose a processor which delivered over 1 million score in Antutu then this phone would been a true mass phone to handle 3 years OS updates
I baught a this phone on 12th Aug 2024, after one day, and it stopped changing. I went to the service center and deposited the phone for replacement. They told me it would take 2-3 days, and they did not even provide any backup phone to use. Now, after 6 days, they are saying we can't help it will take 15-20 days. The behavior is very rude while dealing with the situation. Don't buy this phone or any phone from Motorola. Motorola has very bad service center experience. Very poor experience. No one is saying about the service centre experience.
honestly I would probably never go to a moto phone again i got moto edge 30 ultra and it could not capture my face ever, every time my face was blurry. probably because it was unsuccessfully trying to brighten my skin tone, as my moms face was clear (still pretty water painty tho) so I just gave it to my mom and got a nothing phone 2, software so much smoother and I actually had the latest android. like I am pretty sure my mom got android 13 while google pixels were getting android 14, which she never got. and even my girlfriend using some 11-15k maybe Motorola got android 13 around 2023 November. (for context android 14 was already released by then) they might have fixed these issues but I aint even considering it ever after my horrible experience

That double tap feature is there in iPhone from 2019 but you can't open downloaded apps but you can open system apps And you can set another command on triple tap also

They can also change curved display to a flat one and provide metallic frame like Moto Edge 40 and a glass back. Also, they can provide the 67W charger instead of the 125W charger. They can provide a FHD+ flat screen with dedicated dual stereo speakers. Then, it will be great to place the 8/256 under 30K.

One of the best midrange smartphones, ufs 2.2 is not a deal breaker and will make the cut for most people.
they could have easily gave ufs 3.1 by reducing 125w to 67w charging support and maybe even would have been able to give lpddr5 ram with it

Go to Settings > Battery > Battery app use. Go to Apps tab. Select the app (ex. Whatsapp) and change from "smart use" to "always allow". FIXED.
