    Update 3: The Indian variant has started receiving the 1.51 Gb update. Todays date is 10/10/2024
    Update 1: Today that is 18/9/24 Motorola has released a 1.5 GB update in phase mode which everyone should get within 1 week. While watching this video remember that this is an old video. Thanks, Motorola for finally listening to us. Gives us some more time to test and confirm whether the 1.5 GB update finally did the trick. Thanks for understanding.
    Update 2: Sorry bros..the Indian variant is yet to receive this update. We tried our best. We have and will review many Motorola phones and when there is a issue in a specific model we will make you aware.
    Just to let you know, I will always have a soft corner for Motorola in my heart...You know why. I am a fan of their software and cleanliness. How some of their phones feels like a luxury. But now they have crossed the line yar. Again Motorola is not bad. I love their phones. Every brand has these issues. But its how they treat their customers and stuff that matters. When you sell lakhs of phones 200 will have issues. That is normal. What do you think bros?

      ​@@JtJones Bro same thing also samsung doing with M55 and F55, camera lag, heating, ui lag many more, total 3 updates it received till date but not fixed any of these, service center calling it feature of these smartphone, I am totally fu*** up after purchasing this, before I used moto g52, but after 1.5 year green line issue occurred, I contacted with customer care, but they was not care about this, so I bought this but after purchasing this experience are totally worst, brands don't care about customers ether moto or samsung.... and shocking thing is any big youtuber spoke about this....

    Bugs I've been facing on my moto edge 50 pro-
    1. Sometimes, when I've scanned my fingerprint to unlock the phone, the phone is unlocked but gets stuck on the lock screen for a few seconds.
    2. Any kind of photo takes atleast 2 seconds to process while any other that I've used before never did this. Some photos may take upto 4-5 seconds if I am using ultra resolution.
    3. I have used it with and without ram boosting. I am getting lag even in games like hcr and 8 ball. II've finally enabled upto 8gb of ram boost which doesn't causes this lag anymore but I am sacrificing my phone's space and moreover, the phones comes with 8gb ram already. Why is it taking 8+8gb ram to give good performance in minimal performance requiring games.
    4. The phone gets slightly heated up when charging tho it's understandable given how fast it charges. 0-100 in 35 minutes with a 68 watt charger.
    5. I've only gotten one software update till now. Nothing more.
    6. The display is dim in sunlight. You'd have to go for full brightness if you want to see the display like you normally do.
    And I really hate how motorola doesn't have it's own apps for gallery and storage.

      Overheat ,superfast battery drain ,worst camera bugs , slow charging in 68watt charger( even 30watt is faster than it) ,software bugs and not a single software update comes 😭😭😭

    Thank God. I had been using the moto G52 for the past 2 years and it got A Green Line. I thought of buying a moto edge 50 fusion But luckily I bought a Realme P1 Pro. Thank God 🙏❤

      I have update on 30 July and boom 2nd August i have a green line on my edge 30 it disappeared for 2 days keeps coming back and now as of 11 August its permanent and not 1or2 but a lot of lines it's not even a year it is my first hard-earned phone.
      Then I took my Moto Edge 30 for a green line issue on August 12th (under warranty). It’s August 28th, and still no phone. Staff keep giving vague excuses and missing behaving. 18-19 days without my device.
      The only updates I receive are promises of future calls, with no clear indication.
      Given that this is my third Motorola phone, the current service experience is making me reconsider my future choices.

    After 1 year of using the Motorola Edge 40, I've had the worst experience. I've visited the service center 4 times due to charging issues. After 6 months, I had to buy a new charging adapter, and within 3 months, the phone stopped charging due to an issue with the adapter. Now, the customer service center is saying that if I buy a new adapter, Motorola won't provide any warranty. It's frustrating and disappointing.

    My personal experience faced on my moto edge 30 :
    1. Got green lines after a year ( no warranty ), but moto changed it for free.
    2. Very very slow updates.
    3. Overheating while charging.
    4. Overheating with normal use
    5. No accessories in retailers.

    There's a hardware issue on motorola phones using POLED displays .
    There are semi-transparent straight lines running if are reading texts ,square boxes.
    Also if you watch something having black bars ,it gets imprinted as it were a screen burn in , although it vanishes playing those burn out fix videos.
    My old Realme 7 pro which I used for 2.5 yrs didn't have such shitty hardware level issues.

      bhai to be honest that ufs 2.2 is a tweaked version and is not a issue at all in my extensive usage!

      Motorola Edge 50 Pro has a higher random read-write speed. You won't be hitting those peak speeds of 2.2 or 3.1 anyway for long times. Besides, most users rarely deal with files over 3-4 GB which won't show difference between 2.2 or 3.1. I personally copy video files and emulator related roms about the size of 18-30 GB everyday. I can tell you the difference but most users won't.

    Moto edge 50 pro camera leg, heating issue, battery issue, no VoNR support.😢😢
    Software update only for 3 update since 5 manth..
    Only 30 MB update security patch no bugs fixed..
    Security update to be late...
    Go for others mobile brands...

    Whoever facing green line issue go to nearest service centre submit your phone tell them to send free display replacement request then complaint this on government consumer forum with the jobsheet from service centre and also call regional manager of Motorola from service centre there you will find his phone no. and tell him the issue...Motorola will then give you free display replacement...thanks me later

    I sold off my edge 50 pro in 1 month from the launch date.
    Camera lagging issues.
    Heating issues.
    Took some financial loss...but learnt a lesson never buy MOTO or any other phone on or around launch date.

    Completely agree, I bought Motorola Edge 20 Pro 2 years back and right after 1 year. My WIFI, Bluetooth stopped working. They work when they wish to. This is so frustrating to have issues in basic features. I am able to use it just because of Jio 5G connectivity but it's so annoying after spending so much money. Also when I try to shut down my phone it gets restarted, phone is not interested to rest (shut down)........... You are the only one who is talking about these issues on TH-cam, salute to you. I have never faced these kind of basic issues even on Realme/Oppo/OnePlus phones and they are not fixing these bugs through bug fixes however it is a pro series phone. Also it is still running on Android 13.

    I admit about the bug but The whole video is misleading -
    1)In the title you wrote edge 50 pro then you wrote software issues and green lines.. From this majority of the people would think that edge 50 pro has green line issues
    2) The thumbnail shows edge 50 pro with the green line
    3)0:40 You said about Edge 40 and Edge 40 neo green line issues but only showed the images of edge 30 Ultra... And I know there are no such cases seen on edge 40 series
    4) Motorola gives free replacement for each and every device with green line issues... No matter if it's in warranty or not..
    I just have one question..Which company paid you for this propaganda?... Transsion or Nothing maybe... Carry on mate 😂😂

    Exactly. I had bought moto G73, and within four months of buying, the fingerprint scanner(side mounted) stopped working. Though I went to the service center and they took exactly 7 days just to repair the fingerprint sensor.
    After android 14 update, a lot of bugs were introduced. Like the Lockscreen clock sometimes lagged by an hour. For example if it's 11AM, the clock shows 10:15AM. The camera glass was made of cheap quality glasses, so it got a lot of scratches and the pictures became turbid. Also after updating to android 14, a lot of lags and jitters were introduced here and there (like the refresh rate dropped to 30hz, which made scrolling extremely jittery). Sometimes, there was no network in my mobile, whereas other phones with same sim showed full network. And you are right, they're launching phones every month but they simply don't pay attention to the older devices.

    i so agree, with him, so many so called tech youtubers are just misleading their audience, remember tech channels earn tons of money, they have just become advertisers now, i bought moto g52 in 2022 and it got green line issue thankfully it was under warranty, but now the phone has ghost touch issue, heating issue, the moto phone give you best spec, but these are not long lasting. people buying 30-35k phone why dont you guys buy samsung or iphone?

What you said is so true, I also feel the same, Motorola launching a new phone every other week, but did'nt bother about their existing customers, their service centers are worst, a year ago they didn't have any service center here in our city, the nearest sc is around 100km, I went to Delhi 3 times just to replace the battery. As you said I also have a special place for Motorola phones, but I'm not sure if I buy a Motorola again.

    i had always used Stock android phones in past, my last phone was Asus zenfone Max pro M2.
    When i decided to upgrade
    because no one was giving clean software and moto is alone for that part, No Competitors.
    i chose motorola and bought Moto G82 in June 2022
    i loved the phone, performance, camera, funky gestures everything.
    But sadly, this week i got two green lines all of a sudden, no drops no water damage, no physical damage at all, i have never dropped it.
    Through their forum and websites i got service centres number, going to call them tomorrow.
    if they ask for a large sum of money, i will use it as it is, if the price will be manageable i could think of repairing.
    Sad part I can't even sell it anymore.

      Hi, as a huge fan of stock android, my prev mobile was Asus Zenfone Max pro variant too and now have the Moto G82. But sadly the green line issue emerged and it only became worse with multiple lines recently. It looks like Moto has given free screen replacement for couple of months (without proper notice) & also have stopped doing it until recently (ofc without no notice at all to end customers). It was told when I rushed to the service centre today. There's no kind of damage done to the device. They now say it costs rs 9K+ that too they cant give any warranty upon the Replaced Display it seems....Such bad vibes from them. No idea if filing a compliant under consumer court solves this- as no intimation was given to end users.

      I have update on 30 July and boom 2nd August i have a green line on my edge 30 it disappeared for 2 days keeps coming back and now as of 11 August its permanent and not 1or2 but a lot of lines it's not even a year it is my first hard-earned phone.
      Then I took my Moto Edge 30 for a green line issue on August 12th (under warranty). It’s August 28th, and still no phone. Staff keep giving vague excuses and missing behaving. 18-19 days without my device.
      The only updates I receive are promises of future calls, with no clear indication.
      Given that this is my third Motorola phone, the current service experience is making me reconsider my future choices.

    So i was thinking to shift brands and take moto edge 50 pro because its price is around 28k and after exchange it is 25000, but listened to many videos and got knowledge that its not that good and dont give software update .
    Saw you latest comment where you mentioned there in a new update so what are the changes after the update .
    My budget is around 25- 30k please suggest me should i but moto edge 50 pro or go for other phone.

    I will give you an example of a youtuber who is making videos in local language having lakhs of subscribers. when Moto edge 50 Pro launch event happened Moto provided him also free travelling and accommodation.. actually they gave this kind of facilities to many youtubers as per my knowledge.. finally this youtuber did very positive good video regarding Moto edge 50 Pro... all points he shared was positive only...
    but after some days he did a very great blunder.he did a video regarding a travel issue he faced from one company who is operating rendered cabs.. and in that video he told he faced this issue at the time of travelling for attending Moto edge 50 Pro launch event. and he told one more thing dat he was asking to the cab driver for a detailed bill of his traveling 4 claiming the amount, as all of his expenses including travelling was reimbursable by Motorola. Still people watched that video and run away in a hurry Berry to purchase the item...unfortunately these kind of people are also there in TH-cam and the people or subscribers are blindly spending their money by trusting these kind of people...
    my final words will be..." so sad😢😢"

    Really motorola just forgot the edge 50 pro users. No bug fixes. August is coming to an end but still it is on June security patch which came on 3rd of August.
    Really os updates doesn't matter much for me that's why i opted for moto knowing their update policy🤡. But at least they should do the major bug fixes.
    This will be my first and last motorola phone if it doesn't last for 3-4 years.

      Yes , I agree with you Android update ruin our phones . The main reason for device hang , lag , downgrade camera. I am using redmi 9i for 2.5 years with Android 10 , Xiaomi released partially Android 11 to some users, I didn't get it but I am happy now , because my device still as new no hang , lag , battery drain at all. The users who updated they are facing hang , lag. But bug fixes update should come , which my device got.

      Budget phone with not strong processor create the issues, previously I was using Realme c1 also , which got slow after color os 6 Android 9 update but currently I am using poco f5 which has a great processor updated it to Android 14, not any major issues.

    I'm using moto edge 40 , and I'm a college student my phone running smooth and i face one issue my auto refresh rate work only (>=35) brightness so in night i put 35 at brightness and applied extra dim to work auto refresh rate in low brightness.
    Is it also have in your phone if you use it then tell me ,
    Other then its work fine and battery is running good but if we use in 144hz after 1-2 hours you feel like now we put auto to stay longer battery.
    Im not gamer i play casually but recently i m start to play fall guys but phone's battery has dropping down like 1 miniute per percent while playing it, other then every thing good!

    Bought Motorola G64 instead of G85 or Edge 50 fusion or edge 40 neo, happy to have it because of ips display don't have green line issues, other things are good too but does very good amount of Thermal throttle while gaming and etc.

      I have been using moto g4 plus solid phone lasted 9 year,finally uska battery swollen n ita seas now,as I use it as hotspot for 10 hours a day ...this was moto never repaired and never malfunction!! Now I am unable to decide any moto model even after spending money,all models have issues and big issues!shop person suggested moto g64 for my usage of hotspot..I am not ready for ny high range moto with these issues n thank God I didn't buy any edge series!!any suggestions will be welcomed..

    Btw, the green line issue is not specific for Motorola alone, I am a Xiaomi 11T pro user, and now suffering from green line issue after a year and half. In fact many users of 11T pro, 12 pro series are complaining about exactly the same issue on twitter/x. Xiaomi also refuses to acknowledge this quality issue with their OLED screens. Surprisingly, barring a couple of content creators, no one is trying to address this widespread issue.

    Green lines wala issue hr Amoled screen wale smartphone main hai.
    Yahan tk kii Samsung S24 main bhi, Iphone as well. So it is a lottery if you get a good piece or defective piece. It doesn't matter which brand you use.

    Hii , i am a motorola fan . I bought moto edge 30, 2 years ago, first green line appear in 19 month due to software update. When i visited service centre they told me company gives 18 month screen replacement otherwise you have to replace at your own cost which is arround 9500. Where other brands like oneplus giving free replacement for their mobile for green line issue,moto should consider it😮😮.

      They should change there business policies first . They backed off due to low profits and losses due to over engineering and stuffing specific but not so important features making them very costly in first place . They should just give spares in open market and have all range of phones . In present times solid reliability is what customers want

    I have update on 30 July and boom 2nd August i have a green line on my edge 30 it disappeared for 2 days keeps coming back and now as of 11 August its permanent and not 1or2 but a lot of lines it's not even a year it is my first hard-earned phone.
    Then I took my Moto Edge 30 for a green line issue on August 12th (under warranty). It’s August 29th, and still no phone. Staff keep giving vague excuses and missing behaving. 18-19 days without my device.
    The only updates I receive are promises of future calls, with no clear indication.
    Given that this is my third Motorola phone, the current service experience is making me reconsider my future choices.

    I am using moto g52 and just 15 days and a year , green and pink lines have come. Service centre denied to take any responsibility for this issue. . . Today its day by day increasing . .

Or display ka price 9500 bol rahe hai utne main ek naya phone aa jayega agar display change kar bhi loge to kya guarantee hai ki fir green line nahi ayega wo log khud guarantee nahi le Rahe hai ishka. yea company hum log ko chutiya bana raha hai

    Very perfect video...I was having overheating in moto edge 50 pro ...it was reaching 54 degC 🔥 in the service center itself while video recording but they said it is normal and did nothing.

    Mere paas bhi tha ek moto ka budget mobile G9 power sirf 11 months mein screen damage hone se dead ho gaya aur warranty rehne ke bawajood bhi service centre ne repair nahi karke diya . Mujhe 100km dur Kolkata jakar service centre se hairaan ho kar ghar wapas aana pada . Ye baat hai 2021 ka .

    I got a moto edge 40 last year , it worked fine for 1 year and I faced some minor hiccups.
    3 days ago , it started shutting down .
    And then it got stuck in a boot loop,
    Today I visited the service centre , they said it's a hardware issue and my phone is out of warranty.
    I am not gonna recommend Motorola to anyone.
    Worst experience

    Was planning to buy motorola phone but stopped myself after watching your review of edge 50 pro. Hope you can review nord 4 , would love your long term review video on it too. Would help me in making a decision.

      nord 4 has average cameras and terrible display for the price bhai. not interested in the phone. but the build is solid A class

    Using edge 50 pro from some months, everything is working great. Only thing which I don't like is camera gives saturated output and you need to switch to pro mode whenever you want natural colours. I play bgmi for more than 2 hours daily and temperature never crossed 41 degrees. Only problem is moto don't provide regular software updates.
