Thanks! Marx didn't make a little joe, I did using 2 broken E7 shells and rear weights from a 1666 for the front & rear platforms. The pantographs are Lionel repros
The locomotive dispatcher should have assigned a DPU to keep the slack tight. This is a prime example why PSR isn't a great idea concerning super long train consists. Never the less that was an excellent performance by the "Little Joe." 😎😹🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🚂✝ My good neighbor and friend gave me another Lionel train set. It is a #1629 only cataloged once in 1960. It is in nice shape and I ordered some of the missing parts. A good cleaning and lube brings it back to great looking and performing capability.
wow Gary, I need a good neighbor! Thanks! I thought about putting my other little Joe (with one motor) on the back end sort of as a DPU. May have to try that next!
Very impressive! What a long train! Thanks for sharing!
thanks! Just posted a new one with 2 little joes and 45 cars!
Holy Guacamole John, felt like I was waiting at the crossing in Pocono Summit! Awesome video, again thanks for sharing.
thanks!
That's very cool, I had no idea Marx made a Little Joe. Thanks for the video!
