More of this guy let him and marinate more videos this is awesome and when you're doing one of those crash courses where you just end up watching a ton of film theory a ton of game theory and food theory because you have nothing better to do and you're stuck in your house all the time this isn't even the full swing of covid anymore the reason I'm still stuck inside is because my mom has anxiety and won't let us go anywhere so I find myself doing crash courses on these videos a lot and this is a phenomenal change of pace love it 😊💗💕❤️
Having a substitute narrator made the episode feel like one of those documentaries where they don't tell you till the end of the episode whether the people being filmed are going to survive.

Yes, I was annoyed and satisfied at the same time... I was annoyed cuz it wasn’t something I was accustomed to... but satisfied cuz he did well and it was a real break from Matt’s voice lol

I am a Dew super junkie and the massive amount of caffeine I take in daily don't really effect my immune system to much. I never get sick so to answer your question.........to each his own. Everybody's body is different so it might have or he may have built up a immunity to the large amount of caffeine due to drinking so much for so long and it just diddnt make a different at all in his life. (That is what would happen if I ate it)
It's hilarious to have Dan question his job and his whole existence in the narration. I love MatPat's and Steph's ability to just jump in and try something ridiculous, but my sarcastic core also really likes the commentary of "yup, we are toootally a legitimate food channel, omg wtf nooooo" 😆

In freshman year of college my roommates and I found a similar sale, emptied *everything* out of the fridge, and packed it with as many cans of Mtn Dew as would possibly fit. Took about a week to polish it off as well. We were drinking them for breakfast, drinking them in the shower, having a couple for dinner then a few more for dessert... Not sure how I'm still alive now that I think about it.
They actually don't sell it in my country. Someone told me because of some ingredients that you could possibly make drugs with. I don't know myself though. I had to bring a bottle for me and my little brother to try when I happened to be in Germany. I don't really remember what it tasted like but I do remember not thinking it was that special

Why does Dan sound like your practical uncle? Like, your dad’s more sensible, not smoking, reformed brother? The one who knows a lot about D&D, and uses his practical job to buy nice card sets for you on your birthday. And heads up: Dan has a channel, That Cybert Channel.
I’ve seen this before but I didn’t realize how much I loved it until just now. Head editor Dan, your voice along with the epic music over the montage and The epic music in the transitions to the next part. It really makes it feel like it’s a completely different TH-cam channel, one that I would watch and that I would already be subscribe to.
The biggest irony is Steph's willingness to put up with and try these ridiculous foods that she and Matt cook together even when she knows that it has flavours that don't agree with her.
Gotta admit, Editor Dan's VO came as a surprise, but the format was really refreshing to have Dan's commentary in there with Matt and Steph's experiment and research! Makes it come across as more of a big Team Theorist effort!
@@theSCARB Head Editor Dan will not be taking over hosting duties! I wish he would host Game Theory though because I love his voice and delivery. I need Tom to do some voice over work so we can get an idea for how it's going to sound. He's the only one I don't believe has given it a go as of yet and while I have faith in the channels, I have the slightest bit of worry about his stage presence, as it were.

Fun facts: Mountain Dew was originally meant as a mixer for liquor (Which is why it’s so sweet and syrupy). The name “Mountain Dew” is an 1800’s slang term for whiskey which is appropriate given Mountain Dew is from Tennessee. I need Tom to do some voice over work so we can get an idea for how it's going to sound. He's the only one I don't believe has given it a go as of yet and while I have faith in the channels, I have the slightest bit of worry about his stage presence, as it were.

I was watching the final Matpat food theory, this was mentioned and I was like "Wait, did I miss that one?" paused that video and opened up this one
Fun facts: Mountain Dew was originally meant as a mixer for liquor (Which is why it’s so sweet and syrupy). The name “Mountain Dew” is an 1800’s slang term for whiskey which is appropriate given Mountain Dew is from Tennessee. Mountain Dew was invented in the 40’s when soda was still sold regionally and thus if you wanted a particular mixer from a different area, you had to make it yourself which is exactly what the makers of Mountain Dew did.

@@alfredroman5801 Mountain Dew is an alternative for Moonshine. If you look at some of their flavors(I can’t drink caffeine now but I think it was the natural sugar one) they emphasize this.
