My husband and I did this for 40 years until his passing. Kids went with when they were small. Had a great time and tons of fantastic memories. Happy hunting.
We did the same but called it Junking. “ Momma, are we going to go Junking tomorrow? We need more good junk”. lol, memories, never enough once they grow up and leave.

One of the things I loved the most abt this video is watching Kinsley having core memories being created by going to these garage sales with you. I lost my mom 3 yrs ago and the things I think abt the most are those little things, like sitting behind her in her recliner and scratching her back when I was a small. That trip to Disneyland when I was 8 was great.. but it's not what I'm missing now and what I think abt and crave so often...

I laughed when you were so excited about the crystal trinket box. I know how you feel. I found a heavy crystal bowl with beautiful cuts. It was $4.99 at Goodwill. I picked it up and put it down a few times before realizing it was half priced that day. I bought it for $2.49 and was offered $200 on Ebay. I gladly accepted. I love watching you two pick.

Oh the ghosts brought me back. I had a ceiling fan in my living room, filled them up and hung them on each blade and the shadow of the ghosts would fly around the walls. The kids loved it.

That Halloween box is my kind of fun!! I love to get boxes of things like that to take home and discover treasures inside. A thrift store here had Christmas mystery boxes recently and I bought 7 boxes! I found 1970s blow molds, parachute-fabric santas, nativities, etc. It felt like Christmas in August!

The Beistle Company is right down the road from where I live so I find it often and have sold a ton of it. We pronounce it with a long i: Bi stle. The only thing I don't like about selling it is the shipping. I need to invest in big sheets of cardboard to wrap around it since I end up cutting up boxes to protect the cut outs. Great finds!

On my TH-cam channel and followers call me the trinket box queen. I love trinket boxes and I'm always looking for different and unique ones. Limoges has to be one of my favorites, but when I see the trinket boxes I grabbed them if they're unusual. They are my jam! LOL Sell them easily! Love watching you guys!
