I swear I’ve never seen Kayla so happy and so full of energy! It’s infectious to see you this excited about life and your new haircut is just precious on you! I’m so happy you’ve found your person in Matt! Love watching you guys together and I hope y’all can work it out to be closer permanently. Best wishes to you both!❤
The painting on the waste basket is Tole Ware. The cut out in the metal is Greek key pattern. Thank you for your hard work. When I can't shop, it's oddly satisfying to shop with you
When my husband was still mobile, we'd go out every Saturday morning hunting at the yard sales. That's how he got HUNDREDS of Hot Wheels and Matchbox. I was mostly looking for things for resale, and did pretty good. When we were done doing that, we ALWAYS had to stop for a cheap hamburger, or cheap tacos, for lunch. Miss those times.
I am the same way when I go to Estate Sales. I shop only for myself and my daughter but when I pull up and park it's lets go. I just love watching ya'll...
The little glass segmented trays are sandwich plates that usually have glass cups with them. The "ash tray slot" was for the cups handle. They were popular wedding gifts waaaay back in the day. What a great video. I loved the outro! lol You two make shopping so much fun!!
I shipped a CREWEL Needlepoint pic that took a WATER HEAT BOX to ship it in!!!! no glass...but it was HUGE..it was my late brothers(passed in Feb-..58years old)..He asked me to sell it..before he passed and he provided the box...it honestly didnt cost as much as I thought it would...and I got 300.00 for it. (for our Mother)...love that kind of art!!!!
Kayla and Matt, you put your whole selves into going to sales and having fun. It is so enjoyable to see you both having fun AND making money. It is a lot of work for sure but you both make it a joy to watch!
Interesting- thx for educating those of us who did not know. Its also interesting (to me) that it's not metric when A- it's the universal method of measurement and B- they use metric in Germany!!!!!
I gave my dad one about 40 years ago as a gift. I bought it as Brookstone, I think. You run it along the roads on a map and it adds up the inches, so you can determine mileage. I went to an estate sale today and they had about 6 in a basket.
Those snack sets have cups with the plates. We always used them for baby and bridal showers. Mom had the ones you saw and some round ones. That brings back memories very nice
As you were looking at the seat pillows I was yelling at the tv. Grab the stand that went with the sand dollar! Lol love you and Matt picking together, you guys are great together!
Hey Kayla where were you picking the estate sale with the Radko ornaments? The lady you asked the price was my Home Ec teacher in the 80's. That was so cool. I didn't know where she was now. We're from Central City, KY
Goebel is the same company who makes the Hummel figurines. I went to the Goebel outlet when O lived in Germany 4 years. in the 1980's. I bought a beautiful life size porcelain cat.I still have it and love it dearly. You always find such great goodies! I wish our Goodwill had those kids of prices! lol Yes another one! Love ya'll, Time for another lap for physical therapy... Oh Boy thanks for helping keeping me going. Made it to the end xoxoxox and prayers. Paula
You are such a sweetie your hair looks beautiful today. It makes me smile when your prince is with you. Matt is the sweetest human. You are our utube darlings. Love your videos. Thank you so much for sharing
At 14:52 Kayla, you were holding the clear glass tray of what, in the 50's and 60's, was called a snack set. There are matching cups for the tray and they were sold by Anchor Hocking which came in a box set of 8, 4 plates, 4 cups. I believe there are some from the 50's by Fire King that are in color. My set had the tray with a raised spot for the cup. Each person at your gathering (mine was a party I held where a rep was selling Sara Coventry jewelery which was very popular in the 50's). I've seen the sets go for up to $95. Really enjoyed this video of you and Matt. Great finds!!You had so much fun. Keep on keepin on!❤ Colette (washington state)
That greenish casserole dish on the opposite end of those snack/smoke trays at the first goodwill looked like it might have been uranium glass. I can’t say for sure, but 4 things I always have with me when I go to yard sales are a strong magnet, a small flashlight, a jewelers loupe, and a uv light. And if I know I’m going to be buying jewelry I bring my pocket scale. Great pick ups and of course another great video…
I just bought like 10 Radko ornaments for $100. I noticed 9 of the 10 were signed by the artist Joseph Walden. And one had Christopher Radko as well. I’ve sold four so far for $495 gross. The signature sometimes doesn’t jump out at you so ya gotta look all over for it. 😊
In the winter of 1947 to 1948, my sister and I used tiny glass wands that we dipped in bleach to get rid of the writing on old cards along with our grandmother. She was an antique dealer, Clancey's Antiques on Long Island. I know of three stores that she had in different towns, depending on her financial status. We adored her.
That's very cool, sounds like you have wonderful memories of her. Now a days, ephemera collectors don't always mind the inscriptions in vintage and antique cards.
Love watching you two together! So much fun…love all the stuff you found too! I gotta say the little Mallard 🦆 was my favorite item because it reminds me of my Dad that passed a year ago🙏Also I’m a fan of both of yours and I’m watching from Oregon😀
Love to watch you. The sit and snack trays in this video are old . There is also a coffee cup that matches and sits in the corner spot. There are candy dishes and cake stand and more. I have my mom's from back in the 1950's. Was excited to see them.
Kayla, the sip, snack and smoke tray would have been great for my dear ole granny who was known to have an ashtray next to her dinner plate!!😮😂😂😂 Love how chirpy you are when Matt's about 💜
@@zeppmomHaven't we though!! Thank goodness! Almost every photo we have of granny, there's the obligatory fag in her hand 😂😂😂 she lived until well into her 80's, surprisingly 😊
Yall are ao cute together ❤ such precious love between the both of you . Ive been bindge watching yall when I have the chance and makes me want to go out and try to find some good treasures to sell . God bless the both of you!
About the Christmas cards-we don’t care if they’re written on, if it’s on the inside. You know that, right? I buy lots of them to frame and embellish as art, and I was drooling over a few I could see as you filmed. 🤤 And I was laughing at the last Goodwill-Matt is just keeping you shopping until you slow down enough that he can keep up. 😂 Love your videos!
Lovely to see you all shopping. I always enjoy your videos. The tole is the type of painting. The edge to the trash can is a Greek Key cut out. There's no telling what you will find next. LOL. Probably another Magnalite roaster. You are the Magnalite Queen!!!
Funny, I literally just learned about Toleware yesterday on Berner Bros Antiques new channel!!! Its vintage painted thin metal objects just like that trashcan, often with the black background!!! Widerange of items from tiny to large serving platters. What fun! GREAT find in excellent condition!!
New subscriber. It’s fun to watch a channel based right here in my hometown. GO BIG BLUE! (( regarding the floral trash can, Tole is the type of painting. The cutout is Greek Key))
The Barbie couch would’ve been perfect for me and my sisters basement playroom and library!! We had an itchy, old tweed one that was ugly. Love you 2 together. What a super fun couple to watch. Thank you for your content!!!❤❤❤
Y’all are so fun to watch. Love the Christmas ornaments so pretty. The Christmas minion is awesome. Thanks for sharing. Keep smiling y’all are amazing. 🥰
I showed my mom and told her how I watch you and Matt all the time. And you can tell how happy you are compared to previous videos!! ❤❤❤❤ where can I get in touch for advice?
Can you guys do a Q & A session??? So many questions I’d love to ask… have you ever broken anything expensive, best place to find sales, show us what does not sell, what do you do with it, show us a packing/shipping day and how you keep track of inventory and sales.
There she is! I've been missin' ^this^ Kayla - I was smiling the whole way through gurl bc your happy is contagious and wonderful! I ❤ed that HAT! but mostly that you had to play!! I think I maybe missed the secret though? Oh! I see now right off the bat 😂😂😂💞💞✌
Hi Kayla and Matt love your video today you two are awesome together. I got to see you two together in reflection of the mirror at the estate sale. Y'all are soooooo adorable together. This new relationship looks good on you, I have noticed how much more happier and even more stunning and radiant you have become, kudos to you milady!

The painting on the waste basket is Tole Ware. The cut out in the metal is Greek key pattern. Thank you for your hard work. When I can't shop, it's oddly satisfying to shop with you

Kayla your eye to spot quality amazes me. It’s a gift. ❤ You pulled that jacket out of the air. 😂 And it was lucky brand! 😮 Looks so cute on you.
I agree, she knows good quality product…I’m learning a lot from her.
The little glass segmented trays are sandwich plates that usually have glass cups with them. The "ash tray slot" was for the cups handle. They were popular wedding gifts waaaay back in the day.
What a great video. I loved the outro! lol You two make shopping so much fun!!
Yes, we had them at babyshowers and wedding showers so you could have your food and drink on your lap.
Yes i was saying that too😂 not for smoking😂
Hostess sets
They are at thrift shops everywhere
@@KristineS73 no. It's an actual ashtray. The square above that segment is where the glass punch cup would go.

Hearing you and Matt happy together makes my heart happy. Glad you two found each other
The rolling inch measuring device is for map reading. Helps determine distance when an inch equals x miles.
That's awesome 👌
Interesting- thx for educating those of us who did not know. Its also interesting (to me) that it's not metric when A- it's the universal method of measurement and B- they use metric in Germany!!!!!

Love it too, but they are in the dating , flirting stage , that’s why she is so animated with him.
The trim on the regency trash can is a Greek key. Great find!
Love when you 2 thrift together, and banter, back-and-forth with such humor!
Tole on the trash can is referring to the painting, not the Greek key cut out.
Exactly, it's tole painting. 😊
You are exactly right. My Grandmother did Tole painting and was a beautiful artist.
Some antique Tole can go for $$$. Beautiful trays always catch my eye.
@@donnahughes8409 I hope you have some piece's, nice keepsakes.
