- We found the most amazing yard sale right by the store and there were so many great items that we ended up purchasing the entire thing!
We bought a Thrift Store and are documenting our journey to incorporate our full time, online reselling business into this new venture. Follow along as we go through everything involved in setting up the store, adding items from our eBay & Amazon FBA businesses and getting to know the local community in small town Agassiz, British Columbia, Canada.

It is at the moment, but hopefully once we open our thrift store then it’ll become somebody else’s music! But for now, I’m enjoying listening to some of the CD’s while I’m working on setting up our thrift store. It’s refreshing to listen to an album all the way through rather than just the most popular songs on streaming services!
I’m just thrilled to finally find someone else that called them stuffies!

Yeah our family is definitely in the "stuffies" category, but growing up in England, a lot of people over there say "teddies" where I'm from, (short for Teddy Bears)

What a great find!! Do you have any tips for negotiating a price for times like this?
Most of the prices they had posted per item were already fair even if we had just selected a few items to buy by themselves, so that was a good indicator that a deal could be made. As a buyer it’s good to have a general price range that you’d be comfortable with purchasing at, keeping in mind to have made sure that includes some items you can see which can be sold to get that money back. The goal when we’re buying a collection is to sell some items off to get the purchase price back asap so that the remaining items are all profit and in this case I asked the buyer to come up with a price they’d like to get. It fell within a range of what I felt was reasonable so it ended up being a win win for both parties!
Wondering how much you pay a month for your store I have a huge death pile of you name it plus the kitchen sink in my home using as storage too much clutter everywhere sell in marketplace and have 10x 20 portable garage I bought to sell yard sales every weekend. NEED TO DE CLUTTER MY HOME AND SELL WHOLE COLLECTION ENOGH FOR A STORE
