I feel like this is just a list of bottles that if you saw them at retail….duh, you’d buy them….would be a lot more interesting if it was bottles over $100 that you can actually find on the shelf that are worth it
@@bradsbourbonreviews sure, I’m just saying the examples are obviously great bottles and automatic buys at msrp, but not something most people ever will come across. A list of bottles over $100 that you can actually find on shelves would be a lot more interesting. Or are you saying there aren’t any shelf available bottles that are worth paying over $100 for? Only allocated unicorns?
Buffalo trace distribution is horrible in my area, but I did just so happen to snag a 22B early this year. Wish I wouldn’t have opened it. On the other hand I’ve seen cases of Russel’s 15 at MSRP. All great bottles. Wish I could get my hands on a Michter 10.
First time that I had Blantons Gold it was a magical pour --- simply DELICIOUS! Second time it was a different bottle and was just blah --- not pour down the drain, but nothing special. I bought my own bottle for $190 and its very good. Point I'm trying to make is that buying one of these bottles is like a lottery ticket, and if you win then count your blessings. Cheers!
Unpopular opinion. There isn’t a bourbon made by a big name distillery that’s WORTH more than $50-$60 at the most. Out side of something old and rare, a rare release, or from a small craft distillery. Anything over that and you are paying for hype and availability.
@ I’ve never had it. There are a lot I haven’t had. Im only recently getting into drinking whisk(e)y for the experience, as opposed to just drinking it. There may be a few outliers to my statement. Even if you allow for fluctuation of price due to distribution and availability. Maybe allow +/- $30 for that. I like bourbon, but I have yet to try one I thought was worth that much. And there is a lot of damn good bourbon for under the $50-$60 mark. Not saying I wouldn’t pay a little more for one I want, if I have the money for it. Just saying anything above that, the price is inflated by the market.
This is a terrible video. Half these bottles have an MSRP of well over 100 dollars and most people can’t afford any of these bottles at secondary pricing. So good job I guess stating the obvious, yes duh, all these bottles are worth more than 100 bucks. It would be like saying, yes a Rolex is worth more than 100 dollars. Yes the Ferrari out front, also worth more than 100 dollars. Too many TH-cam bourbon guys these days I think is the moral of the story.
Killer list. I’ve had them all except the RR15. However, +90% of all bourbon hunters will NEVER find these at msrp. It would be fun to hear your opinion on how much you think they are worth on the secondary market……or at least how much, on average they are currently going for on secondary. That way if I go into a store, I see a Michter’s 10 for $250, buy or pass…..? (Buy for me personally)
I wouldn't buy any of these bottles as they are not worth the money. My best budget are rare breed, willet rye,,jack Daniels barrel proof rye and jack Daniels barrel proof whisky.

But it’s not. It’s a list for bottles that are worth paying over 100 for.

I went to my local Walmart and asked for Blanton's gold. They said that the Walmart on the planet Jupiter, was the only store that has it. 🥃🤔
I’d what to tell you buddy, once a month here in Orlando
I was sitting there the whole time with arms folded going "he better say RR15 or else we're no longer friends"... lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Those are some stellar bottles!
I found a Blanton’s SFTB mispriced at $99, am I a bad person for buying it?
Not at all
That’s what it was priced for
@@bradsbourbonreviews thanks I can sleep now 😂
I hoping to get a RR15 soon! I really want one for my one year anniversary!
Putting good vibes your way
MSRP for these bourbons are worth it. It’s nice to have a few of these for special occasions.
Absolutely
That Old Fitz is the VVS right?
Getting them at MSRP is key

Well said! Cheers buddy
Nice selection.
Thanks!
I like your shelving. Able to share a link??
Yeah absolutely:

Was that Michters actually distilled by Michters?
How would I tell?
Someone told me awhile ago and I forget how to
Those are some great pours!
Indeed

You don’t think George t Stagg is worth more than 50 dollars?

@@bradsbourbonreviews now, that being said, I’m big enough to admit if I’m wrong. So if you want to send me a bottle, I’ll give it a shot🤣

Your not going to find any of them at retail
I did tho…..I’m not magic which means you can too

You do you brother! I love all of those except Willet.
