For me, having a 19 and a 26 make the perfect couple, the 19 and the 26 are exactly the same inside and out, only the size varies and the 26 can use the magazines of the 19, so for me the 19 is the perfect combination for the nightstand and protection of the house and the 26 to have it with you
I have a 26 and mostly carry it with a G19 Mag and XGrip sleeve. You can easily make the G26 larger, however, you can't easily make the G19 smaller... Velocity wise the G19 is on average 30 FPS faster than the G26. Nice video!
That's what people say about the 17 vs 19, that you can extend the grip length of the 19 with an extended MAG, to become the same size of the 17 but ofc not the other way around I got the 19, it's my daily carry both concealed and open carry. But my brother has the G17, and by comparing both in my hand, the difference is not as big as some people may think. Some people might find the difference in grip length negligible. I found that I can carry the Glock 17 perfectly well for instance. I don't like to carry my holster on the inside my belt, like appendix carry, I prefer to carry my gun at 4 oclock strong side hip, on the outside of my belt (thankfully down here in TX you can open carry), and for concealed I carry it most often in my bag, so I don't need my handgun to be that small. The G19 has worked exceptionally well for me
I shoot my 26 gen5 USA better than my 19 gen 4 and I find it hard to believe but it’s the case so far and I’ve only put 1000 rounds through my 26 versus 8K plus through my 19 with that said I flat out Love both guns ! like you said in your video “always carry “ and that’s why I bought the 26 so I had no excuse to not carry even in dress shorts 😁 Great video!
I love the g26 however I hate the flush 10 rd mag. But thankfully I am able to purchase the plus 2 extension grip which turns into 12rd mag. It makes great edc conceal carry with proper mods.
I refuse to believe that the G19 can shoot more accurately than the G26. I have a G26 Gen 5 and it outperforms the G19 at the range EVERY TIME and it seems nobody ever wants to address that despite the countless testaments by shooters admitting the same thing. Almost every video I have watched where a G19 and G26 were Both shot SIDE by SIDE on target paper (was Not shown here) the G19's groupings were off target and wider than the G26 which had tighter and on target groupings. I Have heard from several G19 owners saying they shot Better with their G19, but That's because they have BEEN shooting and practicing with it for a while before they ever tried a G26. When I first shot Glocks, I shot a G17, G19 and G26....the G17 did Slightly better than the G26 with the G19 taking 3rd. I cannot explain this phenomenon as it is a shorter grip and smaller pistol but the fact is there and that fact alone makes this pistol a VERY desirable option as it can conceal And shoot better than a G19 as well as take One magazine size lower than the G19. It's ONLY downside is the absence of an accessory rail.
So... a glock 26 can be made larger with the same 15rd mag and if youre really picky you can put a glock 19 barrel in the 26 and would have better recoil having less weight of slide but same barrel. You cant make the g19 smaller.
I live in California.....we can't have 15 round mags.....unless you want to go to jail and die from being ass-raped......6 rounds is the maximumlegal capacity.....
I have the 19 set up as a home defense gun with threaded barrel optics suppressor light and 24 round oem mag. My 26 is what I edc everyday with 12+1 pinky extension with a 15 round spare mag. I can use all my double stack mags with the 26 if I need too even the 33 rounder. Also You can turn the 26 into a 26x buy using 15 round magazine and putting an x grip sleeve on the mag. Essentially it turns it into a 19 grip with a shorter slide and it feels absolutely fabulous a 17 round with an x grip sleeves feels awesome too.
Can you use them in the same holster (the holster style that allow the barrel to protrude)? It might be a good option to use 26 in summer and the 19 when weather allows to wear a jacket without sweating like a pig.
Love my Gen 3 19 but I want to get a 26 for my fiancé. The 26 is a great piece but the 19 fit my hand better and really feels like it was made for me. My fiancé has smaller hands so the 26 and 27 fit her hand perfectly.
Hey Chris, I'm looking at your "Hinge Holster Package Deal" just one question, where it says "package includes" and it says( Extra Holster Shell), and when I press the tab and a whole list of pistols come out and a customer can select. Does the (extra holster shell) mean a customer can select a different type of pistol holster? Basically what I'm asking, with Your "Hinge Holster Package Deal", is that in essence (2) types of pistol holster with all the accessories that can change out for that price of one $ 109 hinge holster package deal? Is that what you mean by pistol shell?
So if I like the accessory rail and I like the conceal ability of the 26, can’t I cut the 19 too a 26 frame? I mean the 10 round mags don’t bother me one bit.
I have both and my G26 "shoots better" than my 19. I don't use a pinky extension. So, the reason a G26 without an extension shoots better than a G19 for a lot of people is that without the pinky on the grip, you avoid "milking" the grip which will throw shots. You only need the middle finger and thumb to hold on to the grip while your index finger does all the work. You should have used a group of people and gathered data on how they would have done rather than making an official pronouncement from the Vatican, your royal highness. I love the Clinger holster. Works well with both platforms.
same thing happens to me when I put my pinky on any pistols the shots go all over haha but if I keep that pinky out like I'm drinking a cup of tea then I'm way more accurate even when I shoot with the 15 or 30 round magazine I still keep my pinky off it
I'd like to see 10 average shooters shoot a Glock 42 then shoot a Glock 43 and see if there is a substasntial difference in accuracy. I think this obsession with 9 mm is silly.
Well disappointed in review the 26 preformed just like the 19 26 easy to conceal the grip than 19 and on a backup mag you have choices Glock 19-17 mags
What tears me up is everyone who compares the G27 to anything else in .40 S&W full-size (or 9MM) as having to much recoil to shoot “painlessly”and “with any accuracy”…come on y’all and give me a break…a .40 is not a .45-70 in a BFR or a .454 casull in whatever…my brother has a G22 and when we get together to shoot…sometimes he does better and sometimes it’s me for the win, even when we swap it’s pretty much the same…I have a conversion barrel and magazines to shoot 9MM in my G27 but in reality l don’t shoot one better over the other…same with my brother…but that’s just me/us…YMMV
So dumb… If you’re gonna do an accurate comparison. Don’t have an extended finger grip on the Glock 26. Do a stock comparison for both guns what’s the point of carrying of G 26 and adding a extended finger groove? If you’re going for ultimate concealment? Compare apples to apples… Makes no sense! Both are Great pistols but if you’re gonna compare one to the other for EDC. Makes no sense to add an extended finger groove you might as well just carry a G 19. 🙄
One of the best comprisons! Straight to the point, no time wasting. Thanks!
So the G19 shoots better than the G26 for You. I don't know why, but I shoot my G26 better than my G19fs.
For me, having a 19 and a 26 make the perfect couple, the 19 and the 26 are exactly the same inside and out, only the size varies and the 26 can use the magazines of the 19, so for me the 19 is the perfect combination for the nightstand and protection of the house and the 26 to have it with you
G 19 all day long! I carry G26 for 7 months every day and I like very much but because of jumping and no rail decided to return to G19 .
I have a 26 and mostly carry it with a G19 Mag and XGrip sleeve. You can easily make the G26 larger, however, you can't easily make the G19 smaller... Velocity wise the G19 is on average 30 FPS faster than the G26. Nice video!

I conceal the 26 all day everyday and 17 for home defense.

like you said in your video “always carry “ and that’s why I bought the 26 so I had no excuse to not carry even in dress shorts 😁
Great video!
Instead of the shorter barrel, do you think the added muzzle flip could be due to the grip of the 26?
I love the g26 however I hate the flush 10 rd mag. But thankfully I am able to purchase the plus 2 extension grip which turns into 12rd mag. It makes great edc conceal carry with proper mods.

You can have one if you use the 80% lower... next argument?

@@happilydivorced6385 No practical value in realistic terms.
@@happilydivorced6385 10 rounds is the legal capacity.... Not 6...
Excellent comparison and honest appraisal of two good guns...the positive and negatives. It's the way all comparisons should be done.
I have the 19 set up as a home defense gun with threaded barrel optics suppressor light and 24 round oem mag. My 26 is what I edc everyday with 12+1 pinky extension with a 15 round spare mag. The pinky extension ruins the attributes of the G26. If you are going to go and do that nonsense to the 26 just get a G19
exactly!!!
Love my Gen 3 19 but I want to get a 26 for my fiancé. The 26 is a great piece but the 19 fit my hand better and really feels like it was made for me. My fiancé has smaller hands so the 26 and 27 fit her hand perfectly.
I shoot the 26 just as good as 19 honestly if not better with the plus 2 mag extension
Why would you do a comparison on a compact vs a sub compact?
@clingerholsters what holster is that?
I shoot the 26 more accurately then my 19
I've enjoyed my clinger holsters. Let me know if yall want a review of some newer holsters!

I have them both....I have tested them both/ very little difference in all shooting factors.
00:18 Guac 26?
😂😂
Trying to decide if the 26 or the 19 should be my first gun
Everyone should own a 19 regardless of what platform you prefer.
Get the 19,, unless you have really small hands.
19
Glock 19 easier to WIN 🏆 gun fights with!! Simple...subcompact size..subcompact performance next!!!
I have them both, the Glock 19 and the Clinger V-3 No print holster. A good combo.
Depending on gym/cargo shorts I either have the G19 or G43 on me. I’ve been wanting a G26 but they’re hard to find where I live
Shit.. I choose both.... Glock.
Thank you exactly what i needed to see 👌🏼

you are talkin trash mate ! G26 G5 has lower muzzle flip ! AND is better than a G19 !
Why are you biased towards the 19
I like that shirt. Nice video as well
I carry my glock 26 with 33 mag, it just looks so small though also $100 cheaper than the 19 :)
The glock 19 and 26 are the same price, gen 4 is around $499 and gen 5 is around $539
You definitely dont daily carry a subcompact pistol with a 33rd mag in it lmfaooo
KTM I’ve done it with Glocks 22rd 9mm under my shirt. It’s a bit smaller than the 33

"Glocks 22rd" ? 😒
blondago56 ops I meant 24rd OEM mag lol I was looking at my OEM 22rd 40cal mag when I wrote that

Learn how to grip a pistol.
My Glock 26 performs just as well as my Glock 19. They’re both good but I like my 26 because I can hide it and it’s lighter on my belt.
