@@hauntedsandiegoghosttoursboth wrong, morgan was the lady that jumped off the 3rd floor 15ft. She had stomach cancer. Rumournwas she was also pregnant. She attempted to drown herself in the tub but didnt manage to. An actual historian wrote up the true story. Sorry.
@davidjanisch4528 is that just to drum up publicity... just sayn places fo that to attract certain types of attention to capitalize as those people will rent the room and the fact people want to stay in that particular room means and gaurentees back to back bookings. You would be silly not to
@@Da4knessFall5 At the time of the recording, that was the history our host discovered through their research. We strive to be as authentic as possible and respect history. That said, history, in my experience, is fickle. Some locations where we conduct tours have changed their history. One well-known location seems to revise its history every time a new group takes over. We do our best to obtain our historical information from the locations themselves. Often, we have their historians verify our information and script before we conduct tours. We have encountered instances where the official story provided by a location's historian contradicts a book or another seemingly valid historical source. In such cases, we rely on what the location claims is true. In the instance of a change in ownership, we had to revise the history we tell to reflect the new ownership. Fickle. On the other hand, we have found some of our national, out-of-town competitors take people to locations that have no haunted history in the records at all and fabricate their stories entirely. Essentially, they visit places that aren't haunted and tell lies because it's easier than honoring the actual history (or going to a location they want to be haunted because it makes their route easier and finding out it is not haunted, so make up a story and call it history). That is the other side of historical accuracy. We strive to honor the prevailing historical approach, which is what the creator of this video intended, disputable or not. History is important to us. You may be accurate in the history you presented above and in the historians you follow. However, I would not be surprised if that history has changed or will change over time. From our experience, history is indeed fickle. I will ask our director to revisit this in the future. Gratitude :)
I just stayed two nights there… the Victorian area is closed due to to construction. I stayed in the views building and my light switch turned on twice 😮 kinda freaky…
I stayed there for a week and we stayed in the haunted era
How very cool!
I am on the path rn
Also another woman jumped off the balcony because of grief from her dead husband and she also is seen there
Interesting, we will look into that. Thank you.

Yes, so many different stories written about her, all by "historians". The hotel Del tells about the gunshot.
