i don't get the option to choose if its a registered business account or not. Because i instantly have to fill in business adres, phone number, business contact. Hi, I have created PayPal account for personal and business with two different debit cards. However, ever since my PayPal business is on limitation can I remove the debit card from my personal account to make a new business account?
I have a question. If I want to have a business account, but I do not want to disclose my name on the invoices or name of the store or mailing account, would this help? Because right now I've been working selling things with invoices using my normal day to day paypal, but now I want to move amounts from Paypal to my actual bank account and is not possible if they don't share the same name. Yes you can use a EIN instead of a SSN if your a non-resident. However, you will need to click that your a registered business earlier on in the PayPal Business sign-up process.

How do you control what the customer sees listed on their bank statement for the business charge name and tag for your charge when it goes over? When you pay with paypal or a credit card it will have a tag there as it shows up on the bank transaction. I want to make sure it says business name and not my personal name, etc.
Yes, for PayPal Business, it will only show your business name and email that you used to register your PayPal Business account. It will not show your first and last name.

yes you can do this. Eventually you will have to file a LLC or Corp though so the sooner the better.

This is a problem that I haven't been able to see anywhere. The thing is, as soon as you do a transaction, the person you're doing business with can look in their paypal account and see your first and last name.

You will have to provide documentation to prove new ownership, but it can be done. Be ready with original and new financial/business information. Also be prepared to have some delays as IMO paypal is working on becoming useless for business and customer service will give you a constant run around.

Good question, I would recommend that you use an email that you yourself own, and that it is separate from both your normal personal email AND your business. For example, let’s say my personal email is ‘sgondeck45@gmail.com’. For my day job, I also work at Comcast, and my work email is ‘sgondeck@comcast.com’. I wouldn’t use either of these emails when signing up for a PayPal Business account, and I would actually create a separate email address that I only use for my PayPal Business account, as this is the email address that users will see when they make payments to you and vice-versa. I hope that helps. So if I was planning on using my PayPal Business account to sell Basketball Shoes, I may create an email called ‘BasketballShoeCollector81818181@gmail.com’. I hope that helps and is clear to understand.

Yes, but if your out of the US, you need to first register your business before you create a PayPal Business account.

@@ashleybrooks5711 I would try adding your business bank account first. If that does not work you can try adding your personal one. You should be able to find your routing number and account number of your business bank account the same way you would with your personal bank account. Regardless, all your payments made to you via PayPal will be in PayPal regardless if your bank account is setup or not. You always can export your balance from your PayPal dashboard once your bank account is successfully linked.

Hey Michael, you would have to use your Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) number instead of your Social Security Number (SSN) if you don't have a US SSN.
