This dlc is too hard, I had to respec my entire build around Nanaya’s Torch to beat the final boss, you should try out that weapon

I've been joining people's world with Nanaya's torch to help them with bosses, absolutely obliterates invaders too!

You know they put that torch in at the very last minute cuz even they were convinced Chase would never use Trina's
A Fire Knight's Greatsword showcase would be cool. It has the true combo potential of the Godslayer's UGS and the Zweihänder's R2. I think it's probably the best UGS now.
I love that the DLC has brought us so many new sick weapons like the great katanas or the fire knight greatsword. But at the same time I wish they had brought more variety to each weapon class. Once that these weapons are cemented as the best (moveset wise) in their class, they’ll become a staple and every build is going to be including them.
It's actually broken since it has the normal ugs hitstun with the godslayer movset. R1 - R1 is a true combo. Does roughly 1600 damage fire infusion on pure str.

Chase really loves to buff up the enemies while invading. Now that there’s perfume weapons, it could be really cool to see a perfumer cosplay for invasions that uses uplifting aromatic to buff just like the actual enemies do
i legitimately love that the light attack chain is almost exactly the same attack chain that longswords in monster hunter use, just different animation speeds and the overhead slash has a bit more startup on mh's version
the dodge during charged heavy is also the Fade Slash

I've been running a Rakshasa cosplay build at lvl 150 for invasions. So the full armor set along with the weapon. It's been difficult but very fulfilling!
Might be because the armor makes you deal more dmg but also take more. The katana also has higher poise while swinging, but again you take more dmg as a tradeoff.
Really? I played the exact same minus the boots and gloves for poise and i think it was one of the most successful invasion days I've ever had. So fun too i love this set up👌
@LYCANS4EVER I used just the katana and I think I only lost 1 invasion in like a 3 hour session. I'm not usually that good 😂
@@seidhes8815 I don't know if its bugged or not, but the armor does NOT increase your damage taken, despite showing the debuff icon. Still, the armor has pretty subpar defence stats.
Use bloody wild strikes great katana, you will be doing 2x damage.

Fun fact! The light attack chain is the same chain used by Monster Hunter Longswords' Y/Triangle attacks!
Its backstep slash is also pretty much the fade slash lol

As soon as I saw the great katana moveset, I knew he would be into it. The thrusts feel so good and the slightly off timing given by the attack windups catches so many people
I love the Rakshasa, thing is so simple but damn its reliable. Also love Flame Skewer on the Great Katana, the giant hunt thrust but it buffs the sword is so good

I’ve been in love with Milady since I picked it up. The distance its heavies closes is so nice against invaders. Have mine cold infused and it procs super quickly

I think when you got you got instant madnessed, that wasn't the fist AoW. It was the rolling flame AoW on the madness perfume which is terrifying

I’d love for you to try the Spinning Gravity Thrust ash of war! It’s been hilarious watching people panic roll during both inputs. I currently have it on my keen godskin stitcher for dealing with silly wizards.

Hey Chase, you should try out the Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword. Its AoW dash can be controlled so you can surprise phantoms from around corners adding to its chasedown potential
would love to see a build with the greatsword of damnation next. ive been invading with it and its hilarious because the sword of light buffs it as well so you basically one hit everyone.

I'd love to see the backhand blades next because they remind me a lot of one of my favorite weapons in DS3 which is the Corvian Greatknife, mostly because the Blind Spot ash of war is really similar to the weapon art for the greatknife in DS3 (they're even both called the same thing) and the backhand blades are just cool in general

Have you tried the Fire Knight's Greatsword moveset? Similar heavies to the Zwei but it seems like the light attacks are much faster than other collosal swords
I believe the 2 handed talisman only buffs the normal attacks and not the ashes or ripostes, but Rellana does stack with Alexander Shard
i love that chase finally found a set combination that is on par with his usual set
the Rellana's armor is so majestic. if this is gonna be the norm from now on, I'm happy to see more
