How do you so sure about that TRC holders allowed to travel within schengan area after romania become schengan. I know the normal rule is free movement within the schengan area. But i don't think we can gurantee that for TRC holders. Because it's a very basic visa type in Romania and moreover it's gonna be a hell of a chance for people who crossing borders illegally. Specially past few years there were many cases happened and people been deported. Most of them are TRC holders. Even they allowed to cross borders.. it will be suspend soon coz TRC holders who want to escape...will not come back to romania.
Yes, they still say that we can come and visit for a period of 3 to 6 months. That's why Austria didn't like it until the end. They agreed with the condition that all the responsibilities of those who stop should be taken back to Romania. I send a email to the Romanian immigration office last week for more info but they haven't responded yet, they have responsibility to respond they can't, reject , If there is a sudden change of the rules next month, I will update the informations
