The Earth, Wind & Fire video that The Boys appeared in was the "System of Survival (SOS)" video. It was a short appearance but the kids could move so I always remembered that little part of the video. They looked like they were having fun and the song jammed when it came out. It was a different sound for EWF as they were trying to keep up with the changing music vibe that The Boys were riding at the time. Those were my DJ'ing days and the music was good.
🌬️💨💨💨 I consider myself to be a student of ALL MUSIC from various era's although my all-time "Old School" favorite era of music is the smooth sounds of the 70's. I'm a millennial, but music transcends time. I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THIS GROUP OR THEIR MUSIC🤷🏾♀️... ...NOW THAT I KNOW, I'm going to be a student of their music.

I’m so happy to hear their journey! They weren’t robbed by record labels like so many were…their parents were the best managers a young group can have! I wish their entire family continued blessings and good favor for the rest of their earthly lives 🙏🏾🙌🏾
That's what I'm talking about! I wish all parents in the industry are like theirs. I'm glad they are so grounded and giving back to the community. Can't say that about these entertainers in this generation.
This was a really dope video! I was born in 1980! So these boys grew up around my time and they are really very much appreciated! Thank you so much for coming up with this video. This is one of those stories that seem like it has a happy ending! We need more of these stories!
This story was so beautiful, this brings me back memories when I was a little girl. Miss those days. So glad they are doing good 🤗🙏🏽🖤
The Earth, Wind & Fire video that The Boys appeared in was the "System of Survival (SOS)" video.
Also they sings ewf heritage in 1990
🌬️💨💨💨 I consider myself to be a student of ALL MUSIC from various era's although my all-time "Old School" favorite era of music is the smooth sounds of the 70's. I'm a millennial, but music transcends time. I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THIS GROUP OR THEIR MUSIC🤷🏾♀️...
...NOW THAT I KNOW, I'm going to be a student of their music.
Really? Well their time was brief lol
@@rrg Lol...Well, I guess that explains it then!😂
😂😂
This is the best story I've ever heard about a group of young entertainers. I give big props to their parents for maintaining their standing in their career choices and I am so happy they're so doing wonderfully!! I get tired of hearing about the tragedies of the industry. Thank God for those who survive positively ❤❤❤
The boys have BLESSED PARENTS who were looking at the future! Today parents sell out their children for fame. Congrats on them going back to their roots and being positive role models. This story made me SMILE 😃
Thank you for this trip down memory lane! Crazy was my song! I glad to hear they are all doing well!
Thanks for watching ❤️
Great video as always. I am going a terrible breakup right now so I need to watch whatever will help me. I love dial my heart.
Aww you'll get through this sis ❤️
@@rrg thanks girl. I feel so devastated. But I’m gonna be ok I just need time.
@@doreensika837 never forget that you are loved ❤️
@@rrg awww. Thanks. I really appreciate that.
I’ll be going through a break up soon. Why do we love love when love seems to hate us 😔
I always wondered what happened to them. Glad to know they did, and are doing, well. Glad parents were heavily involved. Love their vegan journey and living abroad story. Love them even more.
Check ✔️ out Unsung
I loved the Boyz when they came out....So glad there is a beautiful story attached to them and that they all are doing well ♥️♥️
Glad to see that these Brothas remained Brothers through it all. In a time when it was hard to stay true to each other, they did it....with dignity and self esteem. I am glad that I experienced their music and their talent. Continue to walk the path set forth for you.......
Thank you for your due diligence in creating this episode about The Boys. I used to love Dial My Heart and Crazy. Definitely the good old days when you had to be genuinely charismatic and talented to make a name for yourself in such a brutal industry. The family dynamic is also INSPIRING! God bless their parents for keeping them grounded with a business sense. 🙏🏾♥️
❤️
This was a great update! I’m so happy they found their purpose in life and we’re not scared to let the industry go, God provided for them with their parents and the wise choices made for them.
The fact they weren’t scared to leave and go live a different life than the glitz and fame is beautiful.
That part
Now generation could never
Great story about a family doing things the right way.
Love to see it 🙌🏾❤️
Man do I miss those days when music was an everyday part of my life the sensation of listening to music 🎶 on a spring or summer day ..fun and innocent time
Life was so fun and so easy back then 😔
@@rrg ..I feel exactly where your coming from ..all the smooth ..hiphop artist who had educational stories to tell to the pop R&B singers who sung about true love and how to treat a woman ..and the smell in the air was different..I guess that's why their called the good Ole days
Yessssss. Man, everything was perfect back then in the "ole days'." We must be getting old LOL Dang, if only we could go back....
They had some jams back in the days off their first album Dail my heart , my Lucky charm, and a little Romance
Off their second album Crazy & Thanks for the funk was a jam too and an thing call love.

so glad to be an 80’s baby I was a big fan of the group. It was crazy ! They were everywhere
I use to love them. They were so cute and music was fun. I like how they did their thing and as they grew they realized it was time to move on to other things.
I was so in love with this group as a kid. I will never forget my favorite song "Happy".
Yesss I remember me and my sister called the boys ,man when my parents got the phone bill we was in trouble 😜 I remember like yesterday it was worth it 🥰 💯

🎶Dial my heart... You can dial my heart 🎶.... My ish as a kid.... What I miss about this Era is r&b existed lol... Good days...
Really glad to hear how parents initially educated themselves regarding the music industry. The boys are blessed to have been raised with both parents. They seem like a healthy, happy, caring family who survived the record industry business in tact. Good job."Boys",also Mom and Dad, u make us proud. 💪🤗😂
WONDERFUL ! ! !
Me and my cousin were in love with this group when we were young. ❤
I LOVE this story! The parents involvement and the positive current life the boys now live is fantastic! It’s so refreshing to hear a Hollywood family story that’s not full of shade, drama, drugs and death. Good for them! Wonderful story! 💝
I remember being around their age when that first album dropped. Good memories. 🌝
I Loooooooveeeeeeeed The Boys back then!!! I had such a crush in Hakeem. I listened to their tapes over and over nonstop. ❤️ If there is a chance. DJ would remember to play The Boys I’m just instantly transported back in time to my childhood.
I’m soo glad to hear that they are all doing well and still very close. Blessings to their parents for being the right kind of parents to put their kids safety and well-being first. Glad they were there to make smart decisions with contract deals & money.
I will definitely check out their music now!
Thissssssss !!🙏🏽🤗thank you for taking me down memory lane. (You never disappoint)👌🏽
🎤"dial my hearrrrrrrt, just dial my hearrrrrrt...yeah yeah yeahh🎶! I never missed a step dancing 2this song with my pointy patent leather shoes with the colored bows for shoestrings, stirrup pants, denim jacket with buttons of my favorite groups & my bangs stacked high in the air🤩. I loved them all equally too, never had a favorite. They were just GREAT. #80's rocked ! #90's ruled!
Nice to finally see a celebrity story with a happy & humble ending.
These boys were and still are a successful story! This is how you stay within yourself and make great choices in life.
Love their Monster R and B classic: Dial My Heart.
Abdulsamad brothas!!
Mane, I was the biggest fan and still am. If they ever decided to tour, I am there! Mr. Jabari and Ms. Angela ❤️.
I LOVED them growing up! Definitely gives me a good nostalgic feeling!
This is a great story! I'm so happy that these young men had parents to look after them an not be consumed by greed...
_This is one of the Dopest vids I’ve seen in a while. Glad They were Family Oriented, and Never Let Money Get in the way, or Break them apart._
It's good to hear about a success story that didn't allow outside influence to ruin their family. Kudos to the parents and The Boys.
I sure do miss those days, but happy that I can reminisce thanks to TH-cam 💞
You were right on time with this one because I was just thinking about them the other day. I miss the groups and music from my youth. I hope you'll do videos on Troop, Force MD's and Ready For The World as well 😁
God bless them and their parents for keeping them grounded.. What a beautiful journey they've been on.. ❤
Donnie Simpson BET at its best
Loved his show!
I searched specifically for this update. I had the pleasure of invitation to the family home when I and they first moved to Atlanta. Dad cooked gumbo and The Boys were very humble in spirit. I'm glad to know they are doing well.
That took me back to jr high!! Didn’t realize I was so close in age with them. Loved their music as well!!
❤️❤️❤️
Love them and their story as I’m glad they alive and doing well.
