Thank you! I couldn’t tell if mine had an aftermarket intercooler, I can now confirm that it definitely does. along with a catless down pipe. The intercooler sits low like that and has the same brackets. This explains why the car feels much faster than my last (E60) 535
@@ShawnzeyRacing hmm, mine has zero codes and no catalytic converter. Is there any way I can tell if the previous owner used MHD? I’ve never done any tuning
I'm not 100% sure honestly. I know my MHD app says whether it has a tune on it already and let's me revert back to stock. But that might be because my phone is the one that tuned it to begin with. I'd hate to tell you the app can but it doesn't work...
Great video. I myself just did the exact mods you did on my 2013 535i M-sport, except I went with the RVG catted downpipe.. My Draggy is showing 13.07 @ 104.39...0-60 @ 4.74, but without my intercooler installed. I do have a question for you... I also have the VRSF intercooler, but two separate BMW mechanics plus myself (3 separate installs) cannot either from the top, or the bottom get the boost pipe to seat fully allowing the clip to "click" in. The Charge pipe side is fine, but not the other side. I've been told by the seller (Vehicle Virals) that it's obvious we are installing it wrong, but after 3 different tries?? No way!! Besides, one guy works at a very well-known BMW performance shop, and he says there is something wrong with my intercooler.. Did your boost pipe give you any major resistance sliding fully down? I'm stumped!! Spent way too much time and money trying to get this done, and they won't take it back.. Shitty way of doing customers. Now I'm waiting on a new aluminum boost pipe to be delivered on Wednesday and give it one last try. Oh... I definitely recommend Valvetronic Designs mufflers.. The sound when fully open is amazing. When close, it's just a bit louder than stock, but deeper. The remote control can be learned by your garage door opener on the rear view.. I've tried all different ways bro and this was by far the best... Please let me know if you had issues with your intercooler. This has been a nightmare for me. Makes me wish I went Wagner.. Thanks again
I did have some issues when installing my Intercooler. 1 - when I took off my old intercooler the rubber gaskets came out so I had to take the charge pipe off to put the gasket back in. 2 - the vrsf intercooler was a very tight fit and had to kind of force it in to place to begin with. And 3, yes I remember that one side clipped in nicely and the other side I had to be pretty forceful from underneath for it to click into place. But at no point did it feel like it was going to break. It was just a lot of force to push on.
Yea I think if I get a heavier cutting pad and compound instead of my foam pads I bet I could get it a lot better if not perfect! Maybe I'll make a short out of some before and after's on this!
Hey, love your content. I've enjoyed all of your videos. But, please wear eye protection. First, for your own safety and secondly, to set a good example for those watching your videos.
I tried many batteries and tried reprogramming it. So unfortunately I think I just need a new key :( Happy to have some help from others in the comment section regarding the key though if anyone has had this issue before!
@@ShawnzeyRacing that is my exact problem. I am south African, here what happens is the first owner was a businessman, the second owner a family, the 3rd owner a gang member. And the 4th someone who crashes them . I am very weird in that the E60 generation is my absolute favourite, and i specifically want a 530d because they are the most reliable BMW you can get and give you great power and economy but all of them are ruined, and most of them have been scrapped. So finding one with less than 100000 miles on the clock in LCI with xenons and Msport is starting to look impossible. Really love your videos by the way, sorry for the rant.
Congratulations on the first channel build. I enjoy watching your channel especially when you’re working on BMWs, they’re my favorite I look forward to many builds in the future. 💯🫡
This is so much better than other car channels… please do more!!!!!
Next car builds going to blow this out of the water!
This car deserves an in depth clean and paint corretion! Please make it! Loving to watch this series. Cheers from Brazil!
Happy to have you here!
Love to have such a broad audience!
Your channel will be huge! You work is great! Thanks for the quality uploads!
No thank you! Happy I get to make them for you all to enjoy :)
I just watched the whole rebuild in single night, I enjoyed every second of it.
Love from Romania❤️🇷🇴
Love meeting people from all over the world! Welcome to the Shawnzey Racing family!
This car needs a m sport body kit
That’s what I was thinking too
It's true the msport bumpers look so much better!
I love this BMW series. Keep working like that and you will see your channel grow. You have a lot of talent.
Thanks Oscar!
I'm hoping the next vehicles takes us to the next level 💪
Keep up the good work champ!
On to bigger and better things! Stick around!
You’re gonna be a huge TH-camr one day trust!
Oh man don't get my hopes up! 😂 Would be a dream for sure
This series has been an amazing journey!! Cheers from Brazil!
Thanks for joining! Hope you stick around for the next one! :)
He’s back!
Post every 2 weeks! :)
Maybe I can do this full time and post weekly some day!

Nice! What a good deal to already have the mods done! Save the money for the next mod on the list 😎
@@ShawnzeyRacing did you have to code anything for the catalytic converter?
I didn't have any check engine lights or warnings for it. So if anything the MHD tune took care of them!

Hell yeah! I came across your channel for the first time yesterday. Im back here today! Upwards and onwards brother!
I hope to see you again in 2 weeks for the next video!
respect from 🇷🇴
For some people that's more important! Thanks 😎
Nice work. Just need to select manual/xhp transmission in mhd though. 16:22
Ah I didn't even see that option!
Luckily I can just reflash it easy enough! Good looking out!
"Vacuum pump should get rid of the check engine light. Now, lets put on this catless downpipe."
No check engine light after 1500 miles with no cat and a tune ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Wow.. this is inspiring because I also bought a $1,000 2011 F10 535i xDrive hahaha
The possibilities are limitless 😎
Iwish I did some runs with XHP only.. I feel like XHP tune made the biggest "Seat of your Pants" difference. Im FBO+FLEX now..
You know I can agree with that! The linear throttle mapping and the shift speed difference was huge in both quality of driving and speed!
m5 style front bumper next
A very good upgrade for the front end of this car for sure!
🎉🎉🎉
Party Time! 🎇🎆
I think this car would come alive with a full paint correction

keep it up!!!
I'll do my best! 😀
I'd probably change the diff fluid and trans fluid now -- it's going to need all the help it can get. hehe.
I did change the front diff fluid and transmission fluid and filter in the first start video when I put the engine back in! :)

Never thought about the "setting a good example for others" part. Something I will consider more often!

This car is amazing. I desperately need a 530d or 535d.
Just need to actually find the right car.
It's getting hard to find these BMWs in nice shape. The prices for them have dropped so more people buy them. But never take care of them :(

No apologies needed! It's a pain point for a lot of us car enthusiasts I'm sure of it! Glad your here and hope to see you in the next one!
Flex fuel and a custom tune will get you down another second!
Corn is definitely the way to go! My R32 GT-R has flex fuel sensor and I run e85 straight out of the pump

Thanks so much! A little hint. The next vehicle is a BMW too. Depending on who you ask that is lol
