Rebuilding My Crashed Damaged Toyota GR Supra - Crumpled Up Supra Rebuild Part 4
I thought I would finally get the frame repaired on my salvage title GR Supra. Until I found more frame damage... So I completely gutted the rest of the car leaving nothing but the bare chassis.

Full Rebuild Of My $1,000 BMW F10!
มุมมอง 52K21 วันที่ผ่านมา
This is the full rebuild my $1,000 2011 BMW 535I X Drive F10 underwent from start to finish! I Spent around $8,250 to get this bad boy back to a perfect daily driver! The N55 intake camshaft was starved of oil and seized to the head causing the intake cam adjuster to snap off and free spin. So after an engine rebuild, we did some tasteful mods including lowering springs, catless downpipe, upgra...

I Spent $45,000 At 29% For A Salvaged Title GR Supra - Crumpled Up Supra Build Part 3
มุมมอง 3.5Kหลายเดือนก่อน
I had to completely remove the old front frame to weld the new frame on to make my 2021 Toyota GR Supra straight again! I lost count of how many spot welds I ground to get it off. I also opened over $30,000 worth of parts! It took me 6 hours to open all the boxes alone! Follow along as I ruin my life financially for everyone's entertainment as I fix this Supra's, frame, airbags, wiring, interio...
I GUTTED My CRASHED Toyota GR Supra To Repair The Frame! - Crumpled Up Supra Rebuild Part 2
มุมมอง 3.1K2 หลายเดือนก่อน
I had to completely disassemble my wrecked 2021 Toyota GR Supra! I removed the front suspension, front subframe, seats, airbags, dash, carpet, and sound deadening so that I could weld the new frame onto the firewall and floor. The Supra is basically just bones at this point! What did I get myself into... Subscribe to follow along with my progress! Email Me Here! - ShawnzeyRacing@gmail.com Follo...
I Bought A WRECKED Toyota GR Supra That Was Abandoned For 3 Years - Crumpled Up Supra Rebuild Part 1
มุมมอง 3.2K2 หลายเดือนก่อน
I bought a wrecked A90 2021 Toyota GR Supra for $5,500 that insurance left in a parking lot for 3 years! I bought this Supra sight unseen from a Copart salvage auction, and we're going to get it back on the road! This crumpled-up supra was mangled in a wreck 3 years ago. We have to replace almost every body panel, the whole frame in front of the firewall, the engine needs repairs, and so much m...

Poor bmw😢
Cleaning all this without gloves is crazy
Love the content.... I noticed the shake in the cabin, similar to the one I had due to bad transfer case.... look into that....
Any shake was probably my cheap Amazon GoPro mount XD I don't notice anything while driving but I'll pay extra attention next time I drive see if I notice anything :)
No gloves is diabolical
It was quite a disgusting car... Interior and engine bay.
Shouldnt you remove the torque converter bolts before seperation so it stays with the transmission or is that not a thing anymore?
You don't have to. It is definitely easier to unbolt the torque converter if you're removing the transmission with it still in the car though! If you don't unbolt the torque converter when it's in the car you'll have to somehow get the transmission off with it in the way which usually there isn't enough room
Of course weekly content would be god for the algorithm. But most projects dont follow a certain timeline and its best to show work being done instead of having needless filler. You could also buy every project car you like so have content till the end of time :)
I just need a small loan of a million dollars and then I will make all the content 😎 But yes you get it! For instance I have received the wrong frame part twice now lol. stuff happens...
I think weekly updates would be good. Not in a rush to see you finish the car or be tied to getting a certain portion done by a certain time. It seems like a tremendous amount of work, and im sure youve had that feeling of what have i gotten myself into haha. But definitely just enjoy your content and the journey whatever youre working on we want to see. I'd also try to make it easier on yourself editing, i think 20-30 min videos on a regular basis is great.
It really is a tough decision but I appreciate your input :) thanks for being here! I appreciate all of you guys so much I really do
Did Freon spray out when you off the condenser?
If it was filled it would've. You would need to take it to an ac shop for them to vacuum it out before taking the condenser off
You know what they say if your BMW aint lea😅king oil it has no oil LOL. A starter motor job is like 3K on this 😅
It's not a BMW if there isn't a puddle of oil under it all the time for sure!
For the sake of your channel, just go with weekly updates. Even if theres not much progress, you can still update us on other aspects of your life which im sure are noteworthy as well. Do it for the algorithm.
I think everyone has said weekly content. I wish I did TH-cam full time I could probably commit to weekly content easier then lol 😂 Maybe one day :)
Loving the build bro. You have a great sense of humor and are very inspirational in how you aren’t scared of anything. I mean, what could be worse than this? 😅 On a side note, I have full access to bmw TIS, so if you ever need any procedures or manuals for anything, let me know. More than happy to help you. What state are you in?
I'm in South Dakota and I appreciate the offer! I have to use humor to get me through this mess of a car lol 😭
Loving the content so far. Count me in for weekly content. Like some others have already said, TH-cam prefer that kind of consistency.
Thanks for being here! And yes I think everyone has said weekly content lol
I'm hoping you can make it through. Can't wait till the next videos on this Supra!
Next video just released! :) plans are still a go were making progress! 😎
Why didn't you change timing chain and tensioners?
I did :)
@@ShawnzeyRacing yea, i saw it later. Did you change diff oil seal? :) I am in the middle of the video))
I did not change any seals on the diff just the fluid. Not a bad idea to do of course though!
The most exciting videos are those that have some sort of milestone achieved; no matter how small or large that would be. The worst are nothing-burgers. Many bigger channels do the latter ones. Amazing work, attitude and vibe. Great channel. Already subscribed!
There has been some videos I've watched where I feel robbed after watching it lol. Thanks for giving your input I love it!
Great stuff! Subscribed 🎉
Welcome aboard! Glad your here :)
Did I miss you going over the total cost?
I did that in a separate short video :) th-cam.com/video/dNN4Q-LCEJA/w-d-xo.html
awsome job man! keep it up.
Thanks <3
Talk less work more seriously
sounds like its not the content for you bud lol
I dont know men. I really enjoy watching your videos and dont understand how you can juast have 3,400 subs but is this really a good idea rebuilding a car like this. Woudnt you get a used supra much cheaper
This is build is 100% not worth it money wise. But I will take the experience and the lessons learned! :)
Weekly updates would be good, TH-cam’s algorithm likes that consistency too
Everyone says a schedule is very good. But most people also says a good video is better then a schedule. So I go back and forth on what to do. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Here's the thing. For the schedule upload. I think you should just stick with it and not worrying about how much progress you had done, because if you chasing the progress, I'm afraid the new audience is going to forget your channel, kinda like losing traffic which at this channel level it would be nice to have all the traffic you could. Don't worry to much about the progress. Keep the 2 week schedule or maybe go to 1 week just to keep up with traffic. And when you feel like you didn't have much progress in that week, make it an update rather than a video with progress. You could however use short as a platform for an update but I don't think all people will notice it. I think short is just a platform to catch new audience. Make the Shorts interesting so people will be willing to go into your channel to catch up more about the project. I'm no TH-camr, so don't just take all my word like I'm some kinda expert in this field. I just gave you some inside as professional watchers 😂. Anyway, keep up the good work my friend. I'm here watching you no matter what is done and not. But sometimes people are not like me. Have a nice weekend🤞
I always appreciate everyone's opinion and views so thank you! And thanks for watching I appreciate that too obviously lol. Currently I think that I'll stick with longer videos. And if I do become a bigger TH-cam like maybe it became a full-time job I'd do a second channel with the weekly uploads. It's what most TH-camrs do so I guess it wouldn't be that creative though...
I'm on the fence. I like when you drop long videos such as this one, but yet, I wouldn't mind seeing shorter weekly update either
I guess that's why big TH-camrs have 2 channels... Second channel for regular updates and main channel for the big ones. Makes sense now lol
So happy to see this one hour gem!
Hope you enjoyed :) Crazy to see the car the way it is lol
@@ShawnzeyRacing wrench fiesta!
I wonder why you did not buy a good shell (from a flooded Supra) ? Much easier and probably cheaper.
Definitely would've been cheaper. I have been checking for a good sheel for a couple months with no luck. If anyone has a good supra frame let me know I'll buy it lol
two broken supras > one broken supra two broken supras might even be enough to make one working supra
just need to find one with the parts I need aka a good chassis lol
@@ShawnzeyRacing Yeah there are not many around, I thought there were more...
Why dont you just add a 6 pin plug and socket to the hatch wiring when you refit the loom
Excellent idea for the future so if God forbid I ever have to take the hatch off again it's easier. I will most likely do that. But I didn't do it on this harness because I have a new one.
now that's thinking, solid idea
Was waiting for this....🔥
Glad your back! Thanks for watching
this project reminds me more and more of prizzamikes nissan 240sx frame repair. 😂
I'll have to check it out!
@@ShawnzeyRacing be sure to watch it from the start! 👍😁
I think weekly updates are better because I almost forgot about your channel
Scary :( but yea it's a tough decision. I like to keep you guys in the loop. But I fear the videos will be boring if I post short minimal progress videos.
I did forget about this channel.
💪😎👍
🫡
I was just thinking about this car yesterday. Great to see a new video
Thanks for coming back :) always good to see everyone in the comments!
Congratulation brou! 🙏🏻🙌🏻☝🏻💪🏻👍🏻 Super video
Thanks for watching :) I appreciate it
@@ShawnzeyRacing You well come brou
Did you x ray that head for cracks? Did you pressurize it to check for intake/exhaust valve leaks? You have too many loose ends and you moving too fast towards engine assembly. Engine prep work was absolutely insufficient
I'm not building a 1000hp engine here lol. I bought a stock head with 60,000 miles it runs and drives great. no need to go that far when your building a daily driver on a vehicle that's barely worth 12k... But more power to you if you go that far!
Love that. Inspiration
That's awesome! Go finish those project cars! Get em on the road they want some love :)
nice job greetings from Romania
Hello from the Midwest of the USA 👋:) Glad your here hope you enjoyed!

your music is LOUD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My bad :(
This video is great. Love the content. When editing future videos, please level out the voices and music. When you flip to time lapse I almost lost an eardrum. RIP headphone users! ❤
Sorry! :) I think my next video coming out is much better on the background music though! This BMW was my first TH-cam series so definitely learned a lot each video. Thanks for commenting and watching, I appreciate you!
Super super loving it from South Africa
Thanks! Its awesome to have an audience all over the world :)
Awesome video! I'm loving this build!!
Thank you! Glad your here :)
lets go buddy
We goin!
Trying to figure out your accent, doesn't sound like a 228 area code. I'd definitely be at your shop😂 great work
Thanks! I'm up north in South Dakota :)
Ugh that interior was nasty! I admire your willingness to clean it sans gloves. lol
Appreciate it! The interior was definitely disgusting lol
What did you use to clean the headliner? Just soap and water? I want to clean a few small spots on my 2013 F10.
I used chemical guys carpet cleaner but heavily diluted in water and just dipped the brush in the soapy water and brushed it in. Worked fairly well!
Bonjour, j'ai la même avec un intérieur zimt-brau avec 285 000 km au compteur, toujours intéressant de voir comment son moteur est construit, le coffre ne s'ouvre pas électriquement ?
The latch is electronic but the hinges are just a shock and spring. thanks for watching! :)
The old owner I assumed a woman. What a pig and I’m sure her house is as messy surely she doesn’t care an out the cleanliness.
Get that girl some power tools!
Woo! Thanks for the $10! You are officially the first to donate and you will be remembered forever 😎 Next time Marissa will get to use power tools for sure lol
Go Marrisa!! Anyone can have a go!! Great start to the channel by the way.
Thanks I appreciate it!
Very nice video, had to sub
Welcome aboard! Glad to have you here!
When’s the next upload?? Literally the best rebuild videos on TH-cam personally I think! Just watched the super build and now fully invested haha
Thanks I appreciate it! I'm editing the next video as we speak should be up soon!
