I understand where you are coming from, I was told after my fusion I would be able to work out and go back to the bedside as a nurse and that wasn't the case. I regret my surgery everyday, girl left me, lost my job, etc. I was 34 at my back surgery but was in pain for almost 3 years before that, but now nerve pain and still similar pain. I just try to ignore it and work out the best I can.
You didn't give specifics. Which vertebra, why it failed, what drugs you take for pain, the information about the revision surgery. This is coming from a person who has had NON TRAUMATIC spinal problems since I was 15, several major spinal surgeries with bone grafts, cage & screws in the cervical and lumbar spine. You don't look like you're in pain. Good luck with your revision surgery. Not all orthos/neurosurgeons are bad. I was fortunate with my surgeons.
I have 4 rods 23 screws to plates and 2 hooks it’s absolutely horrible I had scoliosis and this is hands down the worst thing I’ve ever dealt with they did a second surgery and it only made it worse
you gon make it! put your 100 percent of your trust into that doctor and that surgery and that put that same 100 percent into your dreamjob. trust yourself that everything will work out in the end and that good things await you, don't get caught up in bad thoughts. your thoughts shape your reality think positively it all works out in the end just believe in that
Keep on going man! Please don’t give up

I had scoliosis surgery, fused T2 - L3. It’s brutal. I’m 22 years post op and on disability.
How did you break your vertebra?
10s of thousands of dollars later you’d expect it to feel better
Just don’t give up on your dreams king
