Marvel's Avengers is an upcoming action-adventure video game based on the Marvel Comics superhero team the Avengers, the game is inspired by the long-running comic book mythology and adaptations in other media. The game's main storyline takes place five years after A-Day, a celebratory day for the Avengers wherein a tragedy resulted in death and destruction, and the Avengers were blamed. The team is forced to reassemble to save the world from peril in the form of A.I.M. led by MODOK which threatens ending the world from superpowers. The game features an online co-op mode, allowing players to assemble a team of heroes of their own. The initial playable characters include Steve Rogers / Captain America, Tony Stark / Iron Man, Bruce Banner / Hulk, Thor, Natasha Romanova / Black Widow, and Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel, with more becoming available to players post-launch.

Man, they really nerfed Taskmaster and Abomination and they are the only bosses besides MODOk who are great characters in the comics and actually unique instead of just another giant robot or airship. Worst part is that they are possibly the easiest to beat. Sad.
Black widow outclassing taskmaster is basically saying she's the most established fighter in the MCU. Sheng chi? Black panther? Karnak (Who should've been in this game instead of Kamala)? Naw, black widow uses stun baton
@@sharkbate63-17 Yeah man its crazy. Taskmaster is one of the most OP street level fighters in the comics and has taken on and beaten on some occasions Cap, Wolverine, and BP. I love Black Widow and she is one of my favorite characters in the MCU but there is no way in hell she can compete with someone like Taskmaster. And this game didn't even make use of his ability to mimic other people's fighting styles and just made him a generic foe with a sword and shield. Its honestly so disappointing.

I personally know that this is a Games as a Service (GaaS) title, but the marketing behind it advertised this game to the masses (TV Commercials, Billboards, etc) as a complete game, not a GaaS. If they are gonna go that route, then the devs needs to ensure that the base foundation can stand on its own merits. Having only three iconic super villains, and a horde of generic robots does not lead to such a thing.
This game makes me realize how Robert Downey Jr will always be Tony Stark in my eyes
They had Nolan North, The voice of Deadpool, I actually heard that a few times.
AIM uniforms and mech suits in this has a very CERBERUS (Mass Effect) look to them.

Konrad Crear for the like millionth time it’s not necessary to spend a dime of your own cash to progress in the game. Just by simply playing the game you can unlock everything. Sure you can spend money on the marketplace to get things but it’s not necessary to do that

We have more boss fights on War Zones (non campaign missions). But yeah the story will be continued on dlcs, which are free btw. One of them is Hawkeye dlc and today they'll reveal another one

As long as it takes to play the basic game without dlc, there are plenty of tech based villains they could have used, like Grim Reaper, Fixer, Beatle, Yellowjacket, Crimson Dynamo, Whiplash, Zodiac Cartel, and otter villains like Graviton, Baron Zeno, Enchantress, Executioner, Grey Gargoyle, Crossbones, Lava Men, Whirlwind, I mean seriously, this is one of the most expensive games ever made, and there’s hardly any villains
God I wish this game actually held up to some of these cool moments. Blackwidow was my absolute favorite character to play as.

The boss fights in this game are actually really good and enjoyable. Definitely would've liked to see more iconic super villains, but that doesn't change the fact that the way the boss fights themselves are designed is pretty engaging. Bosses have weak points and their fight patterns evolve over the course of each encounter. Also, they can provide quite a challenge on higher difficulties. On the other hand, Spider-Man PS4's boss fights were pretty easy and underwhelming in terms of actual gameplay- many of them resort to quick time events at the end of the day. But at least there were a lot of recognizable villains.

If they added Magneto, Red Skull, and Crossbones, it would've been a perfect reference to the villain team when Deadpool killed the Marvel Universe for the second time.

Since we got abomination for Hulk next we should get Loki for Thor with the next big bosses being Ultron and thanos. Then after that Dr Doom could be the first next boss and then as a big one Galactus and then Khang the conquerer afterwards.

Doctor Octavius from Spider-Man PS4:
A tragic character that you can sympathize with by the time you beat him. He was once a good man that turned corrupt from his own invention which led to his downfall. He gathered all the sinister six and released “Devils Breath” onto the city killing many people, including aunt May. The final boss was very emotional and dramatic as both Peter and Otto were fighting with dialogue that is very impactful. As peter pleads for Octavius for the cure for aunt May and the rest of the city, which sets the stakes quite high. Overall, all the villains were iconic and were a fun boss to fight.

I feel like taskmaster should be harder to beet especially with the photographic memory and muscles, he's won in a fight against iron fist and many other martial art masters and sometimes more then three at once , but no make him the first and easiest boss. If the datamines are to be believed, we're getting Klaw as a boss against Black Panther later on, plus an odd assortment of B-and-C-list X-Men villains.
@Thomas Wake Funny you should mention that, because according to another datamine, one of the upcoming villains will be Ultron. So a lot more robot nonsense. Also looks like Alpha Flight might make an appearance, as Vindicator is listed as a boss.
