I completely understand why you’ve had to change up the format of the videos recently, but there is something very comforting about seeing the two of you back together on the sofa and having a chat 😊

There is a video on TH-cam of Adam Savage visiting Hamilton and he goes to each department and one of he videos was with he sound guy and he shows how he does a full show. It's amazing. He has the whole thing memorized it's crazy to watch!

While You Were Sleeping is one of my all-time favourite movies! It’s one of those comfort films for me and I can just watch it over and over and never get tired of it. Along with You’ve Got Mail and The Holiday 💖

Seems like putting a sticker with the character's name on the mic would've avoided the Madame T/Fantine incident :D

I always wondered this, especially when watching the Adams Family Vlogs backstage stuff and thinking god I hope they don't accidentally have their mic put on 😂

Slightly different to the sound department of a show. But when I volunteered at my local theatre 🎭 on a Saturday, I was part of the lighting team. So a few times when we had music acts (mainly tribute bands) I was running the lighting board. It was really quite fun. Unfortunately When I got my retail job I had to stop, as I’m contracted a Saturday night.

I'm going to miss these videos when they don't happen anymore :( I'm glad you're getting busy and able to do theatre things but I'm gonna miss this part of my routine.
Maybe you could do like a weekly episode or turn it into a podcast?
My friend's daughter was in a choir in Joseph. After the show, we asked her what they did back stage all that time. She said "We played a game called 'Who Can Be The Quietest."
My partner‘s a sound tech and it’s so interesting to me to hear these types of stories from the actors‘ perspective - so thanks for sharing 💙
I was in a show once and most of the cast were on stage for the Act 1 finale but there were a few backstage, one of whom had a mic which for some reason was turned on. It just so happened that this person was explaining the plot to game of thrones which was heard by everyone in the theatre until the techies cottoned on and turned off his mic

i went to a gig in bristol the other week too
One time my mic was left on the whole of the interval (am dram obvs!) so the audience could hear our random dressing room chat for 20 minutes haha
When I saw singing in the rain on tour the sound was awful, not sure if it was because we were sat on the side or if it was the sound desk but we couldnt hear a word of what was being said. So I very quickly lost interest. The FOH moved us for the second act but by then I had no idea what was going on :(
I watched this in class this morning 😂I will do anything to watch there vids even if it means your bully telling you off and you getting in trouble (true story) 😂😂❤️

My husband is a sound engineer so now I know about all the ups and downs of sound tech. 😂
Think my body is a little confused too like with going back to work etc although it's always an adjustment the first couple of days back and I cant lie in etc, is sleepless socially distanced cast or something or not? I always have to help with putting me mic on!
I've done am dram and we have to be so quiet in the wings in our little 300 seat theatre so it's so strange to hear that you guys can just chat, even on stage!
I feel like I just watched the 100th episode 😭 How has it been two months already?!
Does anyone remember the Kerry Ellis ‘throw those pins at the girls in the front row’ incident or am I just old. 😂 Also, not mics but once I was shadowing the sound designer for Top Hat in one of the previews and I fainted at the sound desk (it’s funny now it’s about 8 years later but at the time I was mortified).

Question... What happens if sound no. 1 is ill?? Like if they suddenly can't come in... Would smaller (like high fidelity) shows be cancelled?
