  • HAPPY GRADUATION SEASON!
I made this money neck tie for my cousins high school graduation. All supplies minus the money can be found at craft stores like hobby lobby and Michael's. Make sure you like and subscribe!
    For ironing the money, supplies:
    •flat iron
    •water spray bottle (dollar store)
    •Money
    Money Tie Supplies:
    •Poster board (dollar store)
    •Scissors
    •Pencil
    •Ruler/Yard stick
•Gift Wrap or Removable scotch tape
DO NOT USE REGULAR SCOTCH TAPE OR ANY OTHER TAPE OR THE MONEY WILL RIP
•string or Ribbon cut at 36" or 1 yard, ribbon 1/4 in wide
    Steps
    1. Flat Iron Money
    2. Draw outline of the tie on poster board
    3. Cut tie put of poster board
    4. Punch 2 holes at the top on each side and put each end of string/ribbon through the holes and tie a knot on each end.
    5. Wrap money around tie and fold it back. If necessary, fold ends back again so nothing sticks out
    6. Using either removable or gift wrap tape, tape money down on backside of tie
Hope this was helpful for you crafters! Please Like and Subscribe!

Awesome video. I made this for my nephew as a unique way to give ( boring) money as a Christmas gift. You made it so easy and professional looking. Thank you!

This was a great tutorial, thank you! I made four of them. The hardest part is making the original tie, but after that you can trace more copies, and taping the money is easy!

You did great! 👏🏾👍🏾 I like to be different and was tired of seeing money wreaths. So I searched and came across your video. I plan to do this for my son who is graduating from 8th grade. Thank you!
However, my daughter is a Senior and is graduating as well. So now I need something different for her as well.

Just heads up some schools may NOT allow students to Wear these items during the ceremony. So they can wear afterwards. Check your schools graduation dress code guidelines.

If you use thin elastic instead of ribbon it’s a lot easier and you don’t have to worry if it will
    Fit over the head 😊

This is awesome. Just a heads up, a long time ago I was told that ironing bills could possibly make them unreadable by machines. How much truth there is in that, idk. It was told to me a long time, but I believe it was someone that worked at a bank at the time. I never actually tried it out to see. But I figured it wouldn't hurt to share. Buy I will be doing this for my son. Thank you
