Am biased since I own a M1000R Comp, but yeah this bike is amazing in every way. I traded in my Ducati Monster to this one and the leap felt like going from a go-cart to a Bugatti Chiron. You would think a 999cc 210hp super sport engine would be awful for city riding and stop-go traffic but it's so smooth and docile when it needs to be. The only gripe I have is the hard seat (which I changed out for a Wunderlich one), vibrations in handlebars (specially if using a 20mm+ riser) and I feel BMW should have included the ilmberger carbon belly pan as standard on the Comp edition of the bike. The belly pan really does make the bike look so much better and ties all the carbon bits together.
I’d agree with everything you said but I wouldn’t opt for the belly pan myself on the single r. I put on a full titanium system and I love seeing the pipes blue now - just looks beautiful seeing it all. Putting too much fairing on this bike kinda defeats the naked angle with it. But it’s great companies do parts for it so you can tweak things 👍🏻
@@AlexDahlZ yeah I’ve seen them looks good ! I like it the way it comes with titanium full system. I’ve the m1000rr as well. Prefer them being very different around exhaust 🤘🏻
I am using the Street suspension settings in the Dynamic and Race riding modes, otherwise it was too stiff for normal roads. I also switched the seat to the Wunderlich seat.@@HyperBiker

I have the comp model also. How are you finding the suspension?
