Nice review. That's the windshield I ordered, in a light smoke kind of brownish/bronze look. It's not here yet, but it will be interesting to see how it performs. I'm 6 foot 4 and this should help significantly with the wind, I'm hoping. Ordered mine with the vent covered, since there are two side vents. I got the XL version, so it's only an inch taller than yours. Good info.
@@LukeHuchMusic it helped significantly. I also bought a Klock Werkz 14-inch screen, and like the looks of it much better. But then I sold the LRST... so now I'm working with a Road Glide, going through all the mods. If you need a Klock Werkz winshield... I have a brand new one.
@@401nate2 The RG has been a game changer for me. The LR is small by comparison. The RG is better made, better qualtiy, better fit and finish. The engineering and mechanics of the RG are more refined and the engine is tuned differently-- smoother, punchier. The Lowrider's bags are a joke, no kidding, like an add-on or afterthought, and the foot controls are also ill conceived. The RG is a refined motorcycle while the LR just isn't ready for prime time. MY OPINIONS based on owning BOTH. You wouldn't find me dead on an LRST, that's for certain. Plus the fairing on the RG is superior in every way and dual headlights is great at night. The LR is DANGEROUS at night in dark locations. I have the RGST, 2023 model, and it's a beast now with risers, mx style bars, S&S Sidewinder 2-1 long pipe... all the things. Fantastic machine, and $10,000 more than an LRST. Worth every cent.
I ordered the 14" Clear view shield when they had their pre order. I have yet to ride with it yet since it's the dead of winter here in Minnesota. I had some fitment issues where i had to open up the holes a bit to get the shield to fit. Also, the gap between the rear of the shield where it meets the fairing is about 1/2" which looks like crap imo. I have contacted them about these issues and was told they are hearing fitment issues for people who have the Rockford Fosgate stereo installed. They were supposed to send me an updated version over a month ago with no luck. I will have to say that i am not impressed with their customer service so far. I just ordered the Klock Werks 10" shield, Hopefully it fits better.
Sorry for all the questions but I’m trying to figure out what windshield is right for me. From the top of your light to the top of the windshield how many inches is it?
How is your night vision with the smoked windshield? I personally can't ride at mint with smoked or dark helmet visor. I don't know if it's my eyes or just me preferring bright lights and cleat vision. I love the smoked look. How much darker is it to look through at night? Do think it's a noticeable difference?
I love mine. I got the large and just got the small for better POV footage. 100 times better than the klockwerks and the tall Harley one is super ugly lol.
Sir,it’s almost $21k, that is is a great deal of money. It’s not even a touring bike, for a bike that has a 117 c.i. I love Harley, but holly crap, the prices are ridiculous. Stop over paying for merchandise.
Appreciate the reviews of all the windshield options you have tried man… really makes picking the right one much easier! 🤘🔥🤘

Did it help? I’m same height.

@@TomGlander what made you change over to the road glide? I’m pretty darn sold on the st. But I’m 6’4” and want a bit more comfort from the wind.

Torn between the harley Rockford Fosgate system and the plex audio. With that shield, can you hear the music at 80+ w a full face?
It’s impressively loud for the size, but at 80 you can’t hear it well. Doesn’t plex use Rockford components?
@@pauldenton9568 yea but its a 400w amp as opposed to the rockford 250w. A friend of mine has it and it’s ridiculously loud
Wow, the old " thunderheader!"
Just wondering if you've tried it with a passenger yet. The stock shield is fine for me but my wife gets horrible head buffeting.
what's your long term review of the Clearview Windshield...
I love it. Better than the HD and Klock Werks by far. Thanks

Is this the dark gray?
It's the light gray. I switched to the dark gray though- here is a video th-cam.com/video/AxNCO4fjkVA/w-d-xo.html

Is that a medium or small?
So this is a size Large? You said you’re 5’10”? So are you able to see over it or are you looking through the windshield?
Yes it is a large and I am 5’10”. Mostly see over it. A bit of looking through
Where did you get your clutch and break levers ?
I believe deadbeat customs website.
Thank you Paul. got the same bike, color and seat. Same taste. Put a 472 fueling cam. Runs great
How tall are you?
5'10"
I really want the wind protection but I don’t like the looks of the 10 inch. I might try the 6 inch.
