It’s good to see flatbedders helping each other n making Sure loads stay secure !! Great video , congrats on first equipment haul
Thanks
Those are more secured if you chain to the axles. Use the spring hangers on the front X the chains and use the rear diff and X the chains.
Thanks. Had another comment about that and I’ll try that next time.
There’s a big yard right next to that place where they store those trucks; that’s my bosses yard we haul out of there everyday sometimes
You're doing a good job, driver.
God bless and keep you safe out there
I appreciate you showing yourself asking questions. That's the stuff.
Chain throught the pocket and scrap the J hooks.
DUDE !! bouncing and vibration down the rode is the problem !! 🤔🤔🤣🤣👍👍😎😎😎 those chains can slide off !
I stay out here repping my manual and my ratchet binders!
Great video, brother!!
Next time make a x if you know what I mean left chain goes across to the right side and the right chain goes across to the to left
Ok I’ve seen that on another TH-cam channel. Thanks for the tip
Cross chaining isn’t the best but in this situation I would have helped with those dangerous rear hooks. I would have hooked directly to the frame.
@@TerraFirmaX the trailer frame?
@@tollboothjimmytrucking. no the truck frame. Those hooks were wonky.
Your doing good driver next just remember it's about a 45 degree angle it do t matter what way you do it just make sure it's opposite on each end good job driver
Thanks. Appreciate it.
Great vlog. I guess for any kind of refreshers, just watch a couple of FSC Speedshop. Steve really demonstrates it. I really tip my hat to you as I am just a 4 wheeler. Have a good week and stay safe.
Thank you.
Love the pov man I really want to become a truck driver and work for prime inc flatbed or reefer or work for TMC flatbed because TMC does oversize loads I still need to get my CDL after I’m done with high school and College
New sub! 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽 I just got offered a job to switch to flatbed
Nice welcome with prime?
No with hub group
Good job. You should have ratchet binders.
Next time if I become a flatbed truck driver I’ma use the ratchet and make an X with the chains so it won’t look messy
Prime still in BUISNESS ??🤔🤔🤣🤣🤣
This was hard to watch. I specialize in military, equipment and oversize. I know this was your first load and your learning but not how i would have secured it.
What would you change on this laod?
Wrap the chain around the spindle in the front. And maybe make some of this snap tighter.
The chain locations they can slide off because of pot wholes on the rode ! 🤔🤔🤔🤣🤣🤣👍👍😎😎
@@JRBROOKS42 that the only placement to hook the chains thanks for all your comments.
Remember you're working load limit is now the lowest rated piece. Example a chain stamped, the chain must have a stamp, G70 typically has a WLL of 7 to 8 thousand pounds depending on the diameter. What counts is the working load limit stamped on the binder. If a chain does not have a G70 stamp it is downgraded to 2000 pounds.
hi my friend hello one question i want to ask you please how much money do I make from flatbed trucking per week and per month
