Casually me vidding my favourite female GoT character ever that the writers ruined. No need to tell you that, like most of people, this last season really gets me deceived, even more because of Dany's fate. It feels like all that character development in which Daenerys earned her people's trust and love, went through endless shit, helped the starks and lost everyone she loved happened for literally nothing and her madness was really rushed, even if we always had warning signs since season 1. But no matter what, she will always remain the gentle-hearted queen that defended innocents, put an end to slavery and brought justice back.
D&D may have had fucked up, Emilia nailed it, and making me feel a mix of loss, pain, determination, power and rage only with expressions faces, without saying a single word is what I call genuine acting.
Anyway, I really wanted to make a quite long tribute that shows her journey through all seasons because she deserves it. It took me forever to finish, honestly I thought it would never end but now I'm glad I made it.

Yeah, people want change, but they want good change. Not everyone who screams ''CHANGE'' is a good person with a good kind of change at heart. Dany was a giant red flag since S1. When she talked of change she only talked of instituting absolutist rule with her ruling and controlling everything.

The thing is, if Dany couldn’t have any children then she was kinda perfect for changing Westeros from feudalism to some type of vote? Like her goals were extreme and would have had heavy resistance from the nobles we always knew that. This was the issue from the moment she wanted to break the wheel, she would have to push the characters we loved of it as well.

Hey, this might be a weird question, but does Dany ever say the Break the Wheel line in the books? I skimmed the possible chapters in A Dance with Dragons, but I couldn't find it - but I'm not absolutely certain. I would really like to know if this is a book quote or made up for the show. Can someone here help me?

I love this show. I enjoyed the final season but it could have been better. Dany going mad seemed to be coming due to her life experiences but the story should've been told in a slower manner. 6 episodes was not enough. It happened to fast with not much build.

@@SerbAtheist Im fairly certain they were considering in-TV time as well, since she did go mad in a fairly short amount of time in-universe as well. Itd be one thing if all the tragedies in her life mounted up to her going mad and that was shown, but it wasnt. Not properly at least. The Danearys Goes Mad storyline isnt whats upsetting, its the pacing of it.
