Pro tip: you can save A TON of bullets by stealthing. If you don't feel satisfied by the outcome of your mission you can always reset the mission, so you can train yourself to the various stealth mechanics, such as DO NOT STACK BAYONET CHARGES (they might all go for 1 target). Tier 3 scouts also have an ability that instakills enemies and deals a lot of damage to armored vehicles. Useful for stealth. Lastly, you can always run away if you get spotted. Also, the kitchen cart does not save food, it USES food to craft consumables.
Historically there was around 60 000 czechoslovak legionares in Russia, majority of them evacuating through Vladivostok in several trains. There was even time when they controlled most of Transsibirsk railroad for securing that voyage. That´s why they were such a big deal for reds and wight army (and for many others). And since your thain is fictional last train of this army (making his way throught already abandoned railroad), you can pick many left behind legionares. And one tip for possible future problem with storage capacity. If you have created a squad, the guns and ammo, they are equiped with are not in the storage (even if the squad is in the train). So if you find yourself overburdened, with no possibility to upgrade, and no desire to throw away things, you can create few squads from all free soliders, and their ammo will make a space in storage car. On the other hand, dissolving huge squad might lead to overfilling the storage unexpectedly. Took me a while to figure it out (it was quite confusing).
The Czechoslovak Legion was scattered along the railway during their travel eastwards. Travelling with thousands of people together is simply impossible and they were strung out over big distances. The situation (5.55) is less strange as you mind think.
Quick note, your group isn't the entirety of the Czech Legion. It's the last unit to head east in the Legion. So picking up stragglers isn't that surprising. Probably a bunch got attacked and scattered previously.
Pro tip - if you have an MG or a sniper set up - you don't need to cancel and re-setup them again if you want to just turn them. There is a turn command on the skill menu in the mission - it's much faster this way.
Also when you are presented with a new locomotive, choose the slower one , it doesn't matter how fast you move , it only matters that you do to keep threat low, so with choosing the slower one you have one more car capacity and time to explore
@@ashwynnnewkirk if you are referring to the gold train, he can catch it easy if he doesn't injur the soldiers much. Also he can upgrade the locomotive for a better speed and use more coal for top speed for short time
@@علیمعدل-ل3و Well, the last split is also fairly important... going north will put you through a test and you will have to rush it. Which with the slow loco might be on the edge...
It's a train game, speed matters. The Hound moves at twice the speed of the Towing Bull by default, burns coal more efficiently and has the largest storage capacity. The less time you spend making it to the port, the less resources you need to reach it, your soldiers eat food every day, your stoves burn fuel every day. The longer you take, the more resources you will need. The less cars you have to upgrade and maintain , the less resources you need to gather, the less you need to stop, the faster you make it to the port. It all adds up. With the Towing Bull it took me more than 40 days to reach the port, with the Hound it took less than 20 days without using overdrive.
Nice, I waited for some days for Pravus to continue this series!! (Edit: During in-game missions, you should try to take every resource available in the city. It'll come handy)
Just a quick note. You can modify the perks of your soldiers when choosing them for missions and I think the perks of scouts and medics are the best. 4 maxed out spy with camouflage perk enabled can take out almost entire missions with no bullets fired.❤
And also some points of interest have quests that you can use so I suggest even if you don't need salvage or buy still send a squad. AND DO NOT STOP AT UNMAPED AND UNCHARTED STATIONS OR YOU WILL MEET BABA YAGA
Are we talking about the Baba Yaga of mythology with the drooping chest and the chicken house or is there someone going about assassinating train drivers and everyone calls them Baba Yaga because a bunch of writers thought that meant "Boogeyman" in Russian?
Maybe they saw the body, figured the killer is probably still nearby, and decided that acting like they saw nothing would keep them alive long enough to reach the bell? Still stupid to be snuck up on so easily after that.
I just finished the game today! You still have a long way to go to reach the end as there are 9 chapters total so I am very much looking forward to this series
You don't really appreciate just how huge Russia's land mass is till you try to cross it. Moscow to Vladivostok is by train is about 2x+ as long as it is to travel from San Francisco to Washington DC. Russia is massive and train tracks are obviously dictated by geographic barriers, so they aren't even in a straight line which adds even more travel time. There's definitely a reason it took the real life soldiers two years to make it to Vladivostok.
You meantioned how far thw journey is. Well, it is russia you are basically crossing from one continent to another then crossinf all the way to side of that one. All im saying is that there is plenty of opportunities to make the train powerful.
Spoiler about the playtime according to game magaznes: Just need to unfold the comment You sure? According to Gamestar, a full run of this game can take around 35-40 hours to finish.
"Women deserve respect and protection as men do." That's a weird statement. Is it saying that women don't deserve protection and respect because men aren't protected or respected, or is it saying that women deserve respect and protection as well as men?
Tbh my main gripe with the game is that it keeps constantly saying "Bolsheviks bad" now i think that even the redest of the reds can agree that the red army wasn't exactly goody two shoes however i feel the game undermines the horrible actions of the white army. I mean just look up the white terror. I dont persoanlly know thw history but in this game about the russian civil war where both sides did horrible things we've only seen and fought Bolsheviks which behave like fucking cartoon villains twirling their mustashes. I get it "gommunism 1984 10 morbillion dead"
Also I'm a bit disappointed since it sounded like at the beginning of the game you could side with either the white or red army during the play through and fight the other, really wasted potential imo
Please stop jumping and skipping in the fighting scenes. Im here to see you play the game and when you skip four seconds its just making it hard to follow.

You can extend your food with the Kitchen car, but it costs herbs as well.
@@Toby_Heath right, i edited that. Thanks for correcting me
Resetting sounds like cheating. Time travel is OP.
@@Quincy_Morris that's why it's called "save scumming". Some people avoid it, but if you are a perfectionist, it's a requirement often.
It's the zoom in on the "Women deserve respect and protection as men do." for me lol

NPC standing on a pile of corpses:"Must've been the wind" LOL
Alternatively: “Man the corpse clean up crews are really lacking these days, we took over this area 2 weeks ago.”
Well, that's 100 in Stealth for ya!
Quick note, your group isn't the entirety of the Czech Legion. It's the last unit to head east in the Legion. So picking up stragglers isn't that surprising. Probably a bunch got attacked and scattered previously.
I like that this is definitly a game that will take time to complete. Allows you to customize how you want your train and how you want to fight/live.
"Nobody ever said the Soviets were smart" that statement has never been more true.
As someone past chapter 3, I couldn't help but smile when you said you wanted to save a "small amount of money".

More last train home please!!! Love it
Cool. You're going to go through Samara. Famous for a popular Lada model they produced.
I'm here for the whole journey.
4:16 “The FBI isn’t listening to you, you’re just being paranoid!” Yeah… right…
Plot thickens, the game is getting really interesting. Can't wait for the beliefs of characters to impact the story.
And the medic maxed perk allows it to heal 2 times using 1 medkit
Favorite new game on the channel for a very long time. Glad it's looking like a long playthrough.

Isn't that like the worst machine gun in history? Like you can find one in Fallout Tactics and it's like "This thing never worked at all."
Great video - thanks for making it. This game is difficult for me and all this information is very useful!
I like how this game shows the Russian Civil War and the effect that it has caused
Love to see the series going!
Praise the Heir! Praise Gimli!

Very entertaining videos sir, way better than raptor's. Those cuts however can be a bit annoying and confusing. Why do you have to rush so much?

i would get this game but the stealth ruins it for me, i like all guns our blazing but naaa steath games suck
Then don't play it with stealth. Go all guns blazing, lol.
