This is my High School and the students are in the old rifle range which has been converted into a classroom after JCPS forced the Corp to pull the rifles used by the MCJROTC students rifle team which I was a part of when I was there. It is sad to see this once great rifle range in such a state as it is in today. For those wondering, we did not use service rifles on the rifle team. If I remember right, the rifles we used were bolt action, single shot marksmanship rifles made in Germany (possible not where made). There were also, actual M14s stored in the armory that were used for drill, these rifles had their firing pins removed and their barrel bores plugged to make them unable to fire. But, otherwise operated normally under manual manipulation. The armory use to be behind the second set of red doors to the right of the Pepsi vending machine and had a solid steel bar across the doors with a heavy duty high security pad lock. The firing line use to be at the red line on the concrete floor de-marking the break in between the dark gray and light gray with the black firing lanes strips running perpendicular to the red line.. A lot of good memories there and those students were creating some of their own memories while getting a taste of the games they would play in boot camp if they chose to join the Corps. Not always fun times, but always learning and growing times. You grew up fast in boot camp. You had to. Semper Fi
"i don't care if you're in mid-air, you will stop in midair". XD. bring backs some good memories loool
Datguy594Rada oh fuck I died laughing at that. My drill instructors used to say that all the time

My senior di said “if you are in the fucking air you will learn how to float after 0

As a Marine poolee this is so much fun to watch 😂 it's nice to have them see what we do at PT every week.
Won’t be as fun at boot camp! But when you’re done it will be funny to remember!

There was a student with a USMC t shirt on that's ironic to me
