- In this video you can enjoy the cab ride - train driver's view from Arriondas to Puente San Miguel Spain on Renfe Cercanías AM, metre-gauge railway, R2 regional line from Oviedo to Santander along the Atlantic coast in Spain in 4K/60 frames per second.
Renfe Cercanías AM, formerly known as Renfe Feve, is a division of state-owned Spanish railway company Renfe Operadora. It operates most of Spain's 1,250 km (777 mi) of metre-gauge railway. This division of Renfe was previously a stand-alone company named FEVE (Ferrocarriles de Vía Estrecha, Spanish for 'Narrow-Gauge Railways'). On 31 December 2012, the Spanish government simplified the organization of state-owned railway companies by merging FEVE into Renfe and Adif. The rolling stock and the brand FEVE were transferred to Renfe (renamed to "Renfe Feve"), while the infrastructure was transferred to Adif.
FEVE also operated a range of cercanías or commuter services. The main commuter area is Cercanías Asturias, where the dense five-line FEVE network was totally integrated with the RENFE lines and works effectively as a regional metro system.

Nice video! The track seems to be very well maintained, but there isn't a lot of traffic along this beautiful route.
@Carfree-Cities NO, there is not a lot of traffic. I liked the line and would like to do more of that part of Spain.
@@RailRelaxationThe western part of the line to Ferrol is even more interesting.
Unluckily I know how that train line is, and it is not well maintened, maximum speeds are too low and the railway is not in the best conditions.

Muy bonito itinerario en cabina realizado en la provincia de Santander con muy bonitos y preciosos paisages de montañas y valles.Pasado la estación de Ribadesella las montañas a,la derecha forman los Picos de Europa. El rio Sella es conocido en España por su descenso en canoa/kayak y es seguido por los aficionados en parte en tren.
Este video y en sus imagenes tiene dos errores de geografia.
1) la costa verde es el.Mar Cantábrico en Asturias. En la costa vista en este video es la costa de Cantabria.
2) en 52.15 "Bay of Biscayne" este lugar esta en FLORIDA. Y dido.mucho.que esta playa en CANTABRIA reciba este.nombre.

Well, there is also HELL in Norway (a railway junction bit north of Trondheim). Not to mention a village called FUCKING in Austria (which has actually changed it name to FUGGING to stop English-speaking tourists stealing the name boards).
An oops! It's called Po and is apparently the shortest place name in Espana.
