- Hey welcome back, its been a minute. In this episode we're taking a detailed look at one of the Esk8 communities most beloved crafters Sender Skates (aka Tim Diegman) Whos most well know for his amazing custom skateboard deck treatments and builds. This particular deck is going on my Lacroix Lonestar which I should have another video up on here in not to long on how the deck transfer went.
As always if you think you might want to get one of these gorgeous boards for yourself you can head on over to their website below.

🔥🔥👍👍
Ernesto is still building them and sending back to the customer. Not sure if Alex is still doing it, but I'd imagine he is too
Great video, and awesome b-roll!
Thank you kindly 🤘
Firearm == "Detroit Super Soaker" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Cant let daddy algorithm think we are talking about bad stuff lol
Love my sender skates deck!
Nice
Can someone explain this to me. Aren't pneumatic tires extremely prone to have nails, glass or anything that is on the road punctuate the tires with easy? Why have them if 9 out 10 rides something will damage those tires? Please educate me. I do understand that they make the ride more smooth
98% of the time you're fine and ive ridden through glass with mine, depends on where you're riding though but generally if you are in the street and not super close to the side walk you wont be picking up nails or shards and the tires themsetlves are fairly resilient, what really gets you are the smaller wood screws that can be on the ground sticking steaight up. Also for any light trail riding like parks or some foot paths pnumatics are the superior option in terms of grip and ride comfort. Thane is goid for speed snd range and sliding.
@@DredSk8 thanks for responding bro!! Im set on the zeus but cant afford it lol..... my only option right now is do payments through affirm for a backfire ranger x3. Should I save it for a zeus or should I just get a ranger now ? Thanks
@@luizb9247 I would honestly stick with backfire, they have a much better customer service rep state side and I see a lot less about BK boards breaking down, minus the issue with that one model wirh the CF deck specifically. And really in this price category the name of the game is reliability not performance which again I would lean wayore onnthe backfire side if you need a real last mile ride/everyday cruiser 🤙
@@DredSk8 sounds good bro. Backfire is one of the few e skate companies that allows financing . Sure is 30% apr but you get the board now instead of saving for a year or more. Plus according to my research their CS is so far better than the competition. Also dont they have a warehouse in US ? How about technical support? Is it all in China? Lastly when I place an order they offer extended warranty on top of the 1 year one and also a shipping protect which Inwas like wtf? Thoughts on that pls and thks again. I will be liking and following you sir!!
@@luizb9247 im not 💯 on how much of their op os state side but they definitely have a distributer in socal which probably doubles as their CS return/service center, trch supports going to be limited but actual warrenty support should be decent on stuff like the battery/controller in that first 90 days based on my anecdotal observations.
Hey so they can send you a skin and you can Install yourself?
Hi Isaac, so this is a custom mail in service, you pick or make a design and send the Deck to them and they apply it seal it and frit it then send it back. there are ways of doing this yourself but its very time and labor intensive 🤙
@@DredSk8 got it so I purchased a skin for 50 bucks from them that isn't a skin they are shipping to me right?
@@DredSk8 I'm ok with time and labor of it means I don't have to send my board in lol
@@IsaacHernandez-pp7xc ahh ok i see what happend I would shoot him an email, you probably bought one of the design options which are not like decal skins or anything, you normally buy either a deck and then choose a design or a service option and a pre fab design, theres a little blurb on the listing but shouldn't have an issue getting a refund.
@@DredSk8 got it dang that would've been awesome thanks man!
