Nature can be wonderful but sometimes also cruel.
But, Mother Nature knows how to keep its balance in the wild of Africa without interference's by us, the human.
When Mother Nature take she gives to all types of animals as featured in this film.
Lion, Hyena, Jackal and vultures are also creatures of Mother Nature and need food to survive.
This film shows how the balance is kept in our wonderful Nature of Kruger National Park in South Africa.
We the Human are very lucky and privileged to observe and experience nature, as God intended, in Game Reserves like Kruger National Park.
Female zebras mature earlier than the males, and a mare may have her first fowl by the age of three. The gestation period is around 360 days.
Foals are born at any time of the year, with birth rates peaking during summer (October-March).
She nurses the foal for up to a year. Like horses, zebras are able to stand, walk and suckle shortly after they are born.
Scavengers like vultures, hyena, jackal and lion are just some of the animals nature calls on to clean up the veld.
Vultures are of great value as scavengers, especially in hot regions like Kruger park.
This video was filmed over two very hot days in Kruger Park on the H1-4 close to Satara Rest Camp.

This Is a very sad but amazing sighting. I am a mother and this was hard to watch. The suffering this poor animal endured had to be immense. The crying out was my clue to that. She would have never drawn attention to herself during labor unless she couldn't stop herself. Thanks for video, truly unique capture.

I have foal out over 300 Mares and never once did I ever see them respond like this this zebra is in severe pain that's the only reason she's even kicking out and making sounds she's dying if this foal didn't come out she would have died anyways I don't like watching mother nature it always makes me want to jump in and help

Lors This was very painful to watch, knowing the suffering suffering that creature of God endured for so long ....some of you guys made me laugh with your funny comments. And I needed it after that. I think the juvenile that kept staying behind was her foal from an earlier pregnancy. Touching how they stayed behind, but I think the others could tell lions were coming and that there was nothing they could do, so they left.

I'm very aware that it was the same for my mother where she gave birth to me. She was 4 foot 11 inches tall, and I weighed 10 pounds 11 ounces at birth. After 42 hours trying to give birth, I was eventually delivered via a cesarean. Thank goodness for human ingenuity, and thank goodness for the NHS.

I'm so tired of people saying the narrator should of helped. First of all, maybe he doesn't have the equipment or knowledge to help. Second of all, maybe he wasn't there while it was happening. Usually recorders are hidden in trees, rocks, etc. and the content is viewed & edited later. Thirdly, if he was there while the incident occurred, do you really expect him to leave the safety of his car to fight lions over a foe that's already probably dead and a zebra who is probably too far gone to survive?

In a preserve, I guess there is no human intervention to a natural event. A bullet would be merciful. But that would probably be a legal issue in a preserve. If nobody were looking, I would probably still give the zebra mercy.

This is a reminder to all of us about the value of our mothers. They suffered to give birth to us, they risked dying for that. They also cared for us and got tired from rising us.

The cycle of life. Difficult to watch the struggling zebra. But her death provides food for other animals. Amazing seeing all the different wildlife: zebra, vultures, ostrich, lions, jackals, wildebeest. And I knew hyena were going to make an appearance. Truly awe inspiring. Nature gives and nature takes. if Hyenas or wild dogs found her lying down like that unable to move. They literally would have eaten her from rear to the head while she was alive. She may have suffered overnight but nothing compared to the other scenario.
Idk. I've watched wild dogs eating prey alive, and they're fast eaters. It'd be over probably in half an hour max. She was in excruciating pain for a day. Prey animals often don't make a lot of sound while giving birth, in order to not attract predators. This one was in such pain that she screamed. I think I'd choose some hungry wild dogs, a nice big group of them.

It’s so crazy how that lion sense that something wasn’t right with that zibra at first. It took him awhile before he started eating the zibra. Both lions detected something was off. Animals are incredible 🙏🏽
