I think Rubio needs to put his head back on his shoulders. The Budapest Agreement was signed by the US government to recognize the borders of Ukraine when they gave up their nukes and much of anything they had to defend their country. Now Rubio says Kyiv should give up something after Russia no longer recognized the borders of Ukraine which is against what they signed in Budapest. Not one square inch of Ukraine should be allowed to be taken by Russia. You don't appease dictators.

Rubio is correct. Both sides will have to make concessions for this horrible war to end. I don't like the fact that Ukraine will need to make concessions, since they were invaded, but what will be the cost of continuning the war in death and destruction?

I doubt it will end like that. Ukraine + NATO had multiple chances to end Kiev 2014 coup. What happened? Lies and receipt, interference in to Russia / Ukraine peace negotiations. Finotto La Comedia. You had your chance.

Johntex... I know you are correct... but still.. .it just knaws really bad to me, that Russia is going to gain territory over this latest war... same way it did in Moldova, same as it did in Chechnya, same as it did in Georgia, same as it did in Syria... All now have Russian military bases on them... well, Russian Syrian military bases have a limited time warranty on them now.., but all these nations invaded, and nothing happened to Russia....and again, nothing is going to happen to Russia... oh wait... it has no more economy, it has a troubled leadership, it has the lowest recorded Ruble value, it has lost a huge portion of its' military, it has lost OVER 800,000 Casualties... (*Russian sources actually accidently stated it had "800,000 wounded in need of therapy"... So do the math.. that is just the wounded in need of therapy, so a lot more wounded not in need of therapy, and a HUGE number of K.I.A. ! We know that more Russians have died then the USSR lost in Afghanistan, then Russia lost in Moldova, Chechnya (* two wars since Russia lost the first one), Georgia (*also two wars), and Syria... COMBINED!!
So we must thank Ukraine for its' handling of our WW3, which is what it is... It is a world war... Ukraine and now Russia is part of the battlefield. It will be soon that NATO forces take over all of Ukraine, and possibly parts/all of Russia... All because Putin CHOSE to order to invade Ukraine and start a war.
      Peace n Love

Are some EU & NATO members objecting to Ukraine’s membership because in time Ukraine could become more powerful than they are and possibly the EU & NATO policeman?

According to the NATO official he site “In response to Ukraine’s aspirations for NATO membership, Allies agreed at the 2008 Bucharest Summit that Ukraine will become a member of NATO.” So either Mr Culeba is lying or they didn’t send him the memo, just saying.

Ukraine was not extended an invitation to the MAP! Putin was in agreement and pleased with the outcome of the summit. You have no clue about Gorbachev and Yeltsin that spoke positively on nato and its expansion and Putin’s early comments that were favorable as well.

    A New Direction on Ukraine
Rubio made it clear that the Trump administration sees the war in Ukraine as a conflict that must end soon. He advocated a pragmatic approach, acknowledging the limitations of both sides in achieving their objectives. “Russia has no chance of capturing all of Ukraine, but it is also unrealistic to believe that Ukraine will be able to return the captured territories,” he said. Rubio argued that prolonging the conflict serves no one’s interests, particularly given the extraordinary toll on the smaller country.
“Millions of Ukrainians no longer live in their homeland and may never return. Ukraine’s energy infrastructure is crumbling, and rebuilding will cost hundreds of billions of dollars, and decades,” Rubio noted. He added pointedly, “Ukraine’s problem is not that it is running out of money, but that it is running out of Ukrainians.”
Exactly Rubio, west can print trillions of funny money. West cannot print solders and weapons to arm them.
Suggesting Putin will stop unfinished job simply cause you desire so?

Zelensky always underdress, he need help of dressing style.. especially if you come to another country for business.. being underdress is an insult to ur couterpart.. that's like wearing summer dress in winter time😂

He used to dress up before the war. In my eyes he shows respect for those who fight for Ukraine by dressing like that. Besides, it looks comfy! I don't see it as an insult, I see an honest man with integrity who serves his people. I've got nothing but respect for Zelinsky.
