I love the ideas that come out of these podcasts, I always thought Steam should put out a digital game awards, and include games outside of its browser. I think that would be a Big Brother step with their prestige, and promote a lot of games, giving incentives for new and indie developers, and it won't be something "gaming journalists" can really do anything about, because they aren't as important to gamers as steam is.
Bob is 100% right. I have never played a half life game and likely never will. If half life 3 were announced, I would absolutely love it just because of the memes that would come from it.
GOD, I 100% have to agree with the Destiny 2 comment. I've been playing for 8 years now and just bought the DLC as it came out, but try getting friends into the game TODAY, and tell them how much money they would have to invest to get the FULL experience. It's a freaking tragedy. On a side note, tho, would love to see Bob Destiny 2 content.
The game awards speedruns parts of the awards sections to cram in more trailers and announcements. Game Announcement Show is more accurate to what people are getting.
this is where I realize I'm dead broke because 30$ more each month would significaltly change my way of living, then I complain I can't play games ffs I can barely live
I think around $30 should be the standard for a game. I don’t think it’s high, nor do I think it’s super low. $100 for a game is crazy and I’d work harder at grinding on the games I already have at that point
For $30, Smite gave you every God and their release skin. It is also a free to play game. I think it was worth it. Especially since you could link it and i have all my gods on PC, Xbox, and Switch.
i love that the episdoes now come here relativly short after release. i stopped listenign ot the podcast cause spotify sucks ass for video content. and if i have a video option i prefer it
i miss the runescape style of games... back when jagex wasn't so money hungry Edit* but hey there's TTR which is still alive through community support.
the only reason i watch the TGA is to see the trailers, I don't care about the awards.
And that's why we should have E3.
@walkerpierce5446 dont even live where E3 was a thing, so dont care about it.
Thanks for posting more episodes. 👍
Imagine somebody manually posting these as they’re being uploaded

but for me, because i'm poor: $20 is a high price for a game. hell, i think hard if it's $10. this is the only new thing i'll have this month.
does marks hair look a lot more luscious?

Someone remembered TH-cam exists
Nah, the prevailing theory is that the exclusivity deal they had with Spotify expired
