I just did this the other day with red chrome instead. I used clear sculpture gel instead of the rhinestone gel. You slayedddd 😍 they look so pretty!!

Your application is perfect. I’ve never seen anyone lay their polygel and it look so perfect. Yours looks like you don’t need to shape and file. I love watching your videos it’s so relaxing lol
U should start with ur non dominant hand first when doin ur own nails that way when u done all u gotta do is the easy side it’ll make u faster after a few times
Also, don’t beat yourself up!! I love all the nails, even the middle that you didn’t like. I get that way with my own designs so I get it but, I’m just saying from one perfectionist to another… it’s still a beautiful set!!

QUESTION FROM A BEGINNER : Do you cure the rhinestone/sculpture gel after you've built it up to the desired thickness or no?

Use that temu adhesive gel. It's Abt $2 you can roll it out with your fingers. it's not sticky.

I did a VERY similar design on my own nails this past week and it's my favorite-est nails I've ever had, no matter who did them!!!
BTW, I used sculpting gel to make the shapes.
I see people doing the 3D bits with the sissy putty stuff, you can roll the chrome into it I’ve seen
There's no such thing as a mistake when it comes to art...IMO the middle finger would be thee perfect finger for your "mistake".

Sometimes what I do is do all my nails and then cure them at the same time to make it easier, But I do understand that's some ploygel melts and run all over the place. :) responding to 8:59
Gurrrlll… you did a great job. I even liked the middle nail… I honestly didn’t see anything wrong with it, however, I completely understand… people like us (perfectionist) see flaws that maybe others don’t and it will bother us till we fix it. Great nails 💅🏽 gurl… I love 💕 them. Peace and blessings to you always.
Im used to doing my right hand with my left now, but as Ive started to get more advanced in my techniques (switching to gels and getting an e-file) its very challenging with the e file. Even though my left hand has some strength from hand filing and painting, holding a heavy vibrating electric file is so humbling, I just dont have the dexterity. Definitely takes me a while to file my right hand, reversing the file direction helps a LOT as well as lowering the RPM otherwise it just spins out of control circling my finger or catching my skin hahahahaa

When I do these nails I get the chrome glitter literally everywhere once I start top coating... It gets on the nude and everywhere else. Does this happen to you? If not, how do you prevent this?
If you can’t find the rhinestone gel to use for the 3D look, what would be a good alternative?

you not curing the top coat long enough before burnishing the chrome that's why its not getting mirror like maybe 5 more seconds

They are REALLY CUTE but next time try solid builder nail gel instead of rhinestone glue because with the builder gel all you have to do it get an decent amount an roll it out into a snake than put it under the uv lamp

Common sense ceases to be common when I use cuticle scissors instead of nippers. Idk why lol. Also nude pinks and soft pinks are flattering on all people. I think that’s why you like it a lot. I do too. ALSO a light pinkish brown looks so pretty on deeper skin tones and tanned skin.

Your drill should have a reverse button. You can set it on reverse to file your non-dominant hand.
