Repower | Paul Hillary V-8 300HP 6.2L with HiTec Marine

Paul Hillary is a keen fisher and diver in Western Australia. Based out of Perth, we takes his 40 year old Glasscraft up and down the coast and drives it hard to the best dive spots.
He recently repowered this boat with a MerCruiser V8 300HP inboard and is amazed with the results.
Completing the job was Tony Spiteri from HiTec Marine.

So tempting! I have a 40 year old Reef runner with a merc470 - have been in to HiTec Wangara to buy service parts many times. I love the old girl and fuel economy is second to none - FADS plus fishing/drifting for the day was 83L of fuel, but could be time for an upgrade if only for the reliability factor. I love seeing videos like this, someone who loves their old girl as much as me.
