- Hidden menu in BMW 7-Series (F01, F02) lets you check diagnostic data in your car. You don't need diagnostic interface to view DTC trouble codes, check live data from sensors, check battery voltage, oil and coolant temperature, perform instrument cluster test with needle sweep and LCD diagnostic mode, check warning chimes, also adjust trip computer fuel economy correction. Access to this service mode can be handy if you have trouble with your car and no access to diagnostic interface.

I've watched this and Tried it several times, MY Rear Pads Light is RED, but the Pads are New a few months ago, it only goes as far as Resetting/Unsucessfull will not Reset, Help - I even tried it with my Zurich Code Reader - which ALSO said Reset available, it said sucessfull when I reset it, but the Red warning light is still ON my dash..Thanks
Make sure that you replaced both pads and pad sensors (those are separate parts and both need to be replaced).
Did you find a fix? Mine is on , not sure where to go in the menu to reset
@@dakota7397 turn ignition on. press black button on dashcouple seconds unthil you get five resset mode. oil. brake ets. its show resset available. press it and ready to go. i did mine

I can access the hidden features. But what ever i do.. it is not doing system test... Any ideas
I experienced some issues in cars with warning messages (low fuel, blown bulb).

Check if you don't have some warnings (like low fuel).
@@mrfixpl just the "drivetrain malfunction" but nothing on cluster aside from cel. It is the full digital cluster though
