    You have great content. I would like to make a suggestion. Stop playing background music that competes with your content. It’s way too loud and if people want music, they can listen to Spotify or similar. I came to learn and decided to change channels because of the music. I’m also probably the only person taking the time to share this with you. Others may just leave and never come back.

      I appreciate it. I changed it to where I have much softer intro music and like 30 seconds of outro music. Check my latest video out and see if that is better. Lemme know please 😁

    Great video! Can you give me some advice on getting green walls in my shrimp tank?

      Lots of light for a long time. So, about double the lighting, you'd typically need for 12 hours a day. With minimal plants, because if you have plants in there, you will likely get hair algea on them.

    The one store I do actually patronize want guppy/endler crosses. He likes them because of the energy gene strengthens the fish and after a few generations you get more beautiful colors of the guppies with the genetic diversity of the endler.

      I mean, that's interesting, I guess. But I feel like having several different families of the same fish would do the same thing.

    Im setting two 20 gallon longs up. Which would make more profit in them neocaridina shrimp only tank or a guppy tank in your opinion if you were doing it. Thanks

    • @homebredaquatics

      Depends, if you're selling to a store or online guppies. If you're selling to people in the community, neocaridina. Either way, I would still breed bn plecos in conjunction with either of them.

      @@homebredaquatics it will be online most likely eBay and band.

    • @homebredaquatics

      @coleh5190 then definitely guppies and plecos. There is too high competition on both those to sell shrimp at a profitable margin for yourself. Where's nice guppies you can sell for 15+ a pair? The shipping is just more of a pain.

    • @coleh5190

      How often do you have to do your water changes for your 20 and 40 gallons guppy pleco tanks and what percentage? Would you recommend two 20 gallon longs or just one 40 breeder? Thanks I appreciate

    • @homebredaquatics

      @coleh5190 I would do 2, 20g. Because you can have two different lines in 2 20's vs. Being restricted to one guppy line to a 40g. Now you will produce more in a 40g. However, you could run the risk of producing too many of one line in a 40g and having to find alternative ways of selling while instead you will have more options with 2 20g but might not have the volume to keep up with demand. Each has their perks and drawbacks.

    Wouldn’t breeding betta fish also be profitable?

    • @homebredaquatics

      Yes absolutely, however, bettas aren't necessary easy. Meaning stores want them practically full grown and to get them to that point you have to separate them. Imagine wanting to turn a profit you will need 20-50 a month which means 20-50 different tanks for the males. The smaller the tanks the slower they grow. Also imagine the amount of water changes you'd have to do. It's not really easy. And being its not easy its hard to consider it a profitable fish for most anyone.
