I bought a 2009 RR Sport in December 2021. Car was working in perfect order ... until this afternoon. 25 miles from home, Saturday afternoon, after my five-foot-nothing wife adjusted the seat up and forward on top of the wheel - that's when the driver side seat & mirror decided not to work! It has been raining a lot here in Jersey for the past two days (more on the way tomorrow). Being six foot tall - I couldn't even drive my own vehicle until we got this working again. I figured it was a wire issue. Thankfully, we managed to get the seat working again only intermittently. But hanks for showing me where to find to find the wire connections. And I will also look into the one how to drain the sun roof drain port. I SUBSCRIBED!
Not sure when you up loaded this Jeremy, but you are without doubt a genius. i followed your advice and found exactly what you discovered on my 2005 Range Rover Sport. Made the wires nice and bright, soldered them back together and all is working again. Amazing!!...Many thx. Now to tackle the leaking sunroof drain...Dread!
Dude, you are the man. I love my 2008 RRS, but I have a reeeeeeeal big problem with Land Rover and the stupid little issues they set you up with. Even the dealership couldn’t fix this when I brought it to them. But they had no problem “cleaning” my sunroof drain for $300. Thank you so much
Very useful video spot on had the seat/mirror problem checked fuses all ok. Uk RR Sport 06. (Looked at wires on drivers side by mistake),But as soon as i checked the passenger side loom saw moisture and the red/white wires fell apart in my fingers. Once soldered back together eveything is working again.👏👏Bravo jereme.✔
Wow what a superb video, you saved me endless work and money! The seat problem came after a morning with very heavy rain. It was the exact same thing with the red+white wire! Million thanks!
Did and everything described and worked perfectly as Jereme illustrated here. Thank you once again! However I had to pull up more trim further to the rear to get the harness out. Going back together I had to use zip-ties to bundle the harness tightly before I placed the black trim back down.
Absolutely 100% works, corroded wires which were factory joined going into the seat harness... re joined and bingo job done.. that fixed the electric mirrors as well. I also re joined central locking wires "green and white" because my key fob wouldn't unlock the doors. Now every thing works as it should :-)
Omg man u deserve 100 likes and range Rover should really have a recall on this I mean it's the exact same issue I have in the exact order. Even when u said dig for the red n white wire it was the exact thing. Man u the boss. Thanks a million
@@djningo if it's not on and you keep hearing the CD player make clicking sounds. and this trick works if the screen is black and not powering on. Simply unhook the battery for a few minutes and hook back up. This will reset the radio

Wow same issues here, on 2008 RR S HSE, this could have caused a fire, or short circuit. MANUFACTURER should be hold accountable. This should have a Recall. It should be reported to National Highway Safety.
To my knowledge, both seats are wired in the same area that you see in my video. But my original issue was my mirrors was folded down and the driver seat was all the way forward.
Hey, thank you for the video! My problem is that my radio, seat + memory, drivers window control and the mirrors don’t work! Checked the fuse number 40 in the interior and it burns every time! Also when I changed the fuse ! So do you think that the problem are the cables like as you should us in the video ? My car is a RRS TDV6 2011 Facelift ! Hey so if mine 06 sport both window in frunt and side mirrors and seat dont move its bcus of those wires. I looled in their and theyare all connected do i cut the lack plastic tip and re wire them. All fuces are good lmk help please
Tahdrick Enoch im not sure the Range Rover Sport is basically the lr3 chassis not sure about the regular Range Rover but I'm willing to bet 90% chance that this will fix your problem on your regular Range Rover

These wires have nothing to do with your engine or car starting. You're not good at working on cars even with a video lol take your car to the mechanic
