- In Star Wars Episode 9: The Rise of Skywalker, Poe's X-Wing has a new loom and the LEGO Star Wars 75273 Poe Dameron's X-Wing Fighter does a great job recreating that! While this set certainly improves upon previous LEGO Star Wars Resistance X-Wing designs, there's still one glaring flaw too me. The Jannah & Knight of Ren Minifigures are great but is it worth $90?

I built this last night, and it had me put a Black Technic piece under the Nose Landing Gear, is it possible you have a different manual, or missed it?
The problem with the wing retraction and the spring loaded shooters is because of the whiplash. It pushes the spring loaded shooters down just enough for them to trigger the mechanism and shoot
When I built my x-wing it had something to stop the landing gear

I just got this set and am I the only person that thinks that it's a little strange that the lower wings are noticeably smaller than the upper wings?
I just realized that poe is in more set than anybody else in seqeul trilogy sets...
If I had this set I would have 5 Poe damerons including the one I lost that was with pows first x wing

Personally I think Poe is the best character in the sequels (except, of course, the original trilogy characters.)
There are 6 different versions of poe in 6 different (actual) sets, and 4 versions of rey in 10 different sets. But the rey’s are mostly the same one in every force awakens-sets

Fun fact: Kylo Ren’s helmet was one of the last things to be designed for The Force Awakens. The Knight of Ren in this set is the first design that “clicked” and really got them on track to what we finally saw with Kylo Ren’s final design.

Bought one yesterday from TARGET and put it together today. Took about 3hrs to build . Instructions with my kit show that a black pin piece does go in the front landing gear void. Enjoyed the build and it looks great but I do think the price point is a bit high at $90.
yeah my dad got me one and it took me about half an hour to build, pretty good imo since i dont gotta buy it

Target just dropped it to about 70 $
Love the new design on the engine intake, and the color scheme.
The retail version of the set did have a pin to stop the front landing gear and was shown in step 52 on page 28 of the instructions. Also the lever is intended to go all the way forward and stay down. You just need to make sure to attach the tri-axles in the right direction, see step 92 on page 51 and pay attention to the little notches on the outer edge of the center.
Still waiting for that Buildable Jyn Erso review...

I much prefer the black X-WING, which I actually managed to get last Saturday! It's soooo awesome! Not only is it the first Lego I've bought myself, but the X-wing is one of the only sets I've always wanted!
This is actually my favorite X-Wing design. I love the White, Orange, and Blue color scheme. It's super unique and beautiful.

Damn the color schemes for rise of skywalker resistance ships have been on point, really vibrant without being cartoonish. Def gonna want to grab this once it gets down to a reasonable price (50-60ish)
I think I’m getting the Tie Dagger for Finn and the Knight of Ren because I already have D-0, Poe, and Rey. I also like how unique the Dagger is

What about the wings. They finally fixed the wings. Why does everyone forget about that. They made the bottom wings shorter so they could connect like they could in the movies. But in previous sets the wings rested on top of each other.a very overlooked detail

I really dig the new engine intake design. I really hope Poe's black X-wing would be re-released with the new S-foil feature and engine intake, that would be something I would buy immediately.

I might be getting this for my birthday in a week and it’ll be perfect for my stop motion
A fix for the wings closing/firing the spring shooters is that you can always just use the lever to both open and close the wings. I do that with my x wing as the way i hold it, if i use the cone the lever will slam into my thumb and hurt myself.
I got this set for my birthday 2 days ago, and the spring loaded shooters barely shoot when I close it love your videos!

The black lego pin is intentional under the landing gear, hecc it has it on the instructions, just a heads up, since I got this build today

@MandRproductions I have just discovered when I went to put the black connector for the landing gear fix, that it was already done. They added it to the instructions!

Is this going to be an in universe modified version of the resistance x-wing because I believe the gap in the back of the bottom s foils is a bit larger than the previous 2 and there are only 2 spring loaded shooters instead of 4

Having the spring loaded shooters fire when you close the S-foils is actually a design flaw with she shooter piece. I bought this set yesterday and mine does not do that.
Cool detail: on the front box art you can see the s-foil mechnism is down like it should be when playing with it.

Really odd that the one small part to stop the landing gear has been removed. I've got one on my Red 3/5 X-Wing (can't remember the year, oops, probably 2017) that came with the set and it's just really helpful, I dunno why you'd remove it

The one thing i dont like about these X-Wings are the seats, When i got my first X-wing (Poes Black version) I removed the seat and put a 2x2 smooth tile and then got a lil sled. So now to get the fig out, ya just pull the Fig and seat. (I did the same thing with the Resistance X-wing)
accually there is something above the landing gear that a first took out because i thought it was usless but it is just a little black technic connecter
That pin you put in to stop the landing gear is supposed to go there, it’s in the instructions.

I have the original trilogy 2018 xwing and I have the same touchy spring loaded shooters. I can not land the xwing without at least one spring loader shooter goes off
I don’t know if it was LEGO who noticed it and took your advice or you missed that part of instructions, but when I assembled this set, it actually showed to me put a black LEGO pin to make sure the landing gear doesn’t go all inside too much that it makes it hard to pull out
The one time they make good back print they cover it up .
you can put the landing skid upside down and it folds up snug and comes out fine, just facing the wrong direction.

Weird, the spring loaded shooter wasn’t an issue in at least the original 2015 model, I’ve never had accidentally fire and I move it from display to display pretty often
it's an EU box that's why it opens with thumb tabs and there's no piece count. NA boxes will use the regular tape method
Australian boxes are weird. They don’t have the piece count, and mostly have the tape but every so often you get one with thumb tabs
I have build this set look's great only one problem I had 2 Orange miss brick I try to get replace by Lego before the Lock-down in NZ with no luck but still looks good but it would been better if it was 100% done
I wonder when we will get Cardo and Kuruk. Maybe in a battle pack since they are Gunners.

I'm having trouble with my X wing, if I try opening the wings with the lever on the back of the set the wings just close right after. Did I build it wrong? Oh and also I did add the elastic bands so idk what's wrong with it.
