I did a fun low cost kitchen makeover! I used Peel and stick wallpaper to add a faux subway tile backsplash! And added Hardware to the cabinets. As well as fun art and a Rug!

Looks good and a hell of a lot cheaper than actual tile. I do this in homes. You can sand lughtly over the wall and wipe clean then apply the paper. Most people dont change out backsplashes often so no biggie.❤

I love your new kitchen look with the backsplash, black hardware and copper accents. An "L" banquette or bench with a table would look very nice in your kitchen area. It wouldn't take away as much visual space from the outdoors as chairs would.

"Necessity is the greatest form of invention" or as I like to think "necessity is the greatest form of creativity"! You have used what you have for this moment and tweeked it to make it work in the meantime until you remodel. Because of necessity (or want-lol), you have tapped into what I believe is one of God's greatest gifts -- creativity! I have found that I feel such satisfaction knowing that I have taken something and made it work. Otherwise, I would never have experienced the joy of creativity. You have such a grateful heart for what you have been blessed with and God will honor that gratefulness.

I really like that you are so patient, I think that's my biggest problem I get so frustrated when I can't get my vision quickly. But that being said I took 6 years before I furnished my entry room. The place looks great, I really love your mind set, enjoy what you have right now and make the most of it.
I'm not really patient, but I can be pretty indecisive so that keeps me from making hasty decisions a lot of the time 😅

Ikea has the perfect "white and copper pendant lamp"' "IKEA PS 2014" about $70. I have the large size and just love it. It has a pull cord where it open and closes to make it brighter. Its fun to put together, nice family project. It's really pretty at night when open halfway like a starburst.
I love everything..the cabinet pulls look amazing..and, your back splash looks great too...the kitchen looks very nice...
I like the pictures you've chosen, especially the pineapple one, and the cart in the kitchen, too. I also try to maximize the appearance of my home and recently updated my kitchen with a few simple changes and no cost involved. I was surprised to see it look so different when I was done and yet a lot more pleasing to my eyes and coordinating with the rest of the home. Good job!

Love the little red rug in your kitchen Lynnette. Your home is lovely, I actually think that more of those little pops of red would be really pretty in the living room as well. I love colorful pops around the rooms. I definitely agree that we all need to “make the most of it” both in our daily lives as well as updates. We have an older home so most things are not “square” so any updates have to be done “creatively” for sure. Thanks for sharing and I hope you have a wonderful week.
