Beautiful home, but the location and lack of acreage, doesn’t justify $42 million . The most expensive home ever sold in AZ was $28 million and it was located in The upper canyons of the gated Silverleaf community.
Most surrounding properties with similar lot size are in the 4-10 millions range(and most of them look prettier than this one), no way this property is going to be sold at anywhere near the asking price. The developer bought a piece of land fit for an 8 million dollar house and thought he could make a mega mansion by simply cramming square footages in it?
Best part about this property is by far, not even close, the whole bunker (that gun range is… wow!) thats what makes this stand out. Good investment, really made this property unique, and main reason why I’d buy it if I could afford. Other good things, Arizona is beautiful, that view of the mountain is amazing, good weather. That pool and backyard layout is awesome, really liked it. Smart design, really practical backyard and everything about it. Also top masculine interior design, my taste. The high-Walled dog space with grass and a dog wash, love it. Nice kitchen also. Poker room, the game room etc, usefull. The basketball court aswell, real cool. Lastly, love all the hidden rooms with different purpose. The viewing room real cozy hideout, best room outside the bunker however was the speak-easy. Beautiful!

Three reasons why this price is absurd #1. The house is surrounded by other houses on all four sides with a sliver of a driveway that enters the main courtyard. #2. Casa Blanca is not and I repeat, IS NOT a street worthy of 40 mill price tag! #3. Who wants to live in a beautiful home, nobody will ever see?! 1. The house looks extremely masculine with the materials and colors the chose. Even the kids wing looks very masculine. As a bachelor I love the look but it's going to be a tough sale since this is a family home and it's going to be hard to convince the wife. 2. The house needs a movie theater, proper dining room and proper living room. 3. They could have at least put a bigger TV in the small screening room. 4. Flag property is not a plus because you are surrounded by neighbors on all sides. 5. Why are all of the TV's, even in the game room so small. 6. The kids wing should have really been a guest house and that's going to hurt the homes value. 7. Having an underground gun range is just amazing.
The nice 👍, the nicest house I have done in the valley was in the late nineties, it’s near the McDowell mountains and not in a development, the owner had to build his own road and put fire hydrants in, they also bought all the land behind it up to the mountain preserve, it has a care takers house on it a guest house and a main house on it with two helicopter landing pads a underground garage, a theater in it and was built out of stone masonry. I heard between the land and the houses it was around 80 million bucks.
In those few comments up here right now, it's already clear that not everyone knows how to appreciate quality. Amazing house at an amazing scale. Am I seeing clearly that some of those rooms have white oak on both the floor as the ceiling?
I'm hearing that most care about how much space they're needs to be for that price when there is so much stuff you have all without walking a 1/2 a mile across your home to get to it.

I usually do not like these huge expensive houses, but this one is beautiful, well thought out, and very livable for a large family and for entertaining. However, I would not want to be in charge of keeping this property maintained. The yearly cost must be at least a little north of a million dollars a year!

Am I the only one who heard him say if you wanted to shoot long range in the indoor shooting range the targets can be moved 66FEET away? That's still handgun range. At 66 feet the a 556 rifle round is still climbing upwards. Hell all of my AR rifles are zeroed to 200 yards..those that know 50yards and 200yards intersect the 556 travel path for the most part. Twist,barrel length at load may change it a little bit.

Just so you know its pronounced Mee-La (rhymes with Sheila) not Mee-lay for the Miele appliances. I know this as fact as a high end appliance rep told me this years ago. Very surprising the butler's prep area has no appliances. Usually homes in this pricing bracket have a butler's full kitchen and the other one is more of a show kitchen (although functional of course). The man cave area was super cool. Nice to know you have a chance if the zombie apocolypse occurs. Great man cave and game area too. All that astro turf outside the pool and no putting green?!

There is not dedicated place for housing staff, the home was custom built for the current owners needs and wants which did not include this feature although they definitely entertain a lot!
They have no intention on really selling it, unless someone actually offers the full asking. I think they are just feeling the market and seeing if they get lucky. It’s kind of like playing $100 dollar slots, you don’t actually plan on winning. You just want to look good doing it cause you know people can’t help but stare at a bloke just bumping a couple hundred per spin..
All I would need is the garage, pool and bunker. The rest pf the house would just be there to confuse and distract potential thieves/threats from the actual treasures.

There is not dedicated place for housing staff, the home was custom built for the current owners needs and wants which did not include this feature although they definitely entertain a lot!

They have no intention on really selling it, unless someone actually offers the full asking. I think they are just feeling the market and seeing if they get lucky. It’s kind of like playing $100 dollar slots, you don’t actually plan on winning.
