- In this video, I am sharing a real life look at what morning time and our morning basket looks like in our homeschool. Morning time is a very special part of our homeschool day. My kids love the routine of gathering together, whether it be around our dining table with warm tea or cuddled together on our couch. I love the opportunity to give my kids all of my attention first thing(after breakfast and chores) in the morning to really fill up their "cups" and I have found that we have a better day whenever we do it.

This is the best morning basket video I've seen, thank you for showing us what it actually looks like. Not just a very long list of books and the cute basket it goes in😅
Also, your kiddos sitting to color is blowing my mind, especially that painting! My boys are 9,7,5,2 and we can barely stay off the table no less color a picture😁
Aw I'm SO glad you found the video helpful!! That makes me so happy! It definitely took lots of training to get my boys sitting and focusing for that amount of time. Just start with small amounts of time and work from there. You can do it :)
This has been one of the most helpful morning time/basket videos thank you! We just started our homeschool in January and I have been struggling with figuring out what my kids should be doing while I read. At 6 and 3 just sitting is not an option.

Thanks for the video. I will be homeschooling my oldest boy for Kindergarten in the fall, so am very new to this all and am always looking for ideas on how to keep the littler ones occupied while doing lessons and other things like morning basket. My kids' ages are 5, 2.5, and 15 months, so I appreciate seeing your videos with ideas for the younger kids as I feel that will be my biggest hurdle for homeschooling :)

My biggest hurdle has definitely been keeping the younger siblings occupied, thankfully there are lots of good ideas out there. Did you see my read aloud activities video? This video is very helpful!! We do morning time Monday-Friday and love it! We will be starting kindergarten homeschool next month but have been doing little unit studies during our morning time since the beginning of the year. Would love to see a video of how you incorporate unit studies in your morning time with little ones :) I love how you keep your kids hands busy with activities around the table. Such a good idea for my 5.5 and almost 3 year old!
