I have been interested in Charlotte Mason Curriculum and the Charlotte Mason philosophy of education for years. I never thought that I could handle it because I needed a curriculum with more structure than ambleside online offered. Enter, A Gentle Feast. This Charlotte Mason inspired homeschool curriculum looks to be amazing! Covers all the subjects except for Math and so far we are really loving it.

We’ll be starting AGF cycle 2 next school year. This year I bought the booklist and used some of the books, so I’m excited to use the entire curriculum!

We used cycle 1 for the first time this year and loved it too. Although we did use simply Charlotte Mason for our language arts and will continue using that. I didn't care for the LA packet when I saw it and scm worked well this year.
Oh that's great to know! I'll look into the SCM LA. What did you like about SCM LA?
We are both doing AGF on the same cycle! I’m looking forward to more video updates. We also didn’t care for the LA packets but I did like copywork passages from the books we were reading. We really enjoy the morning time! Julie Ross recently did some exciting updates to cycle 1 and 2. But like you we are moving into cycle 3 for next school year. I’m nervous to have a form 1 and form 2 student next year!
It is so fun to connect with others Moms that are doing AGF! Yes I saw those awesome updates and was wishing they were for cycle 3 - haha! That's okay though, it's still awesome! I will have form 1 & 2 next year as well and I am nervous too! We can keep in touch and check in and see how each other are doing!

I don’t know if you are still busy with moving in but we are doing AGF for everything other then LA (reading,writing,spelling and English) and math
We actually are doing BJU online videos
That frees up a little time for me while I am with Littles and tending to the home but then Everything else is AGF

That's really great! Do you find that your kids are able to complete the BJU videos without your help? Or do they still need guidance? What grades do you use the BJU for?

I have heard Talk Box mom is a good curriculum for foreign language. I know Maureen Wilkinson here on TH-cam has a review on it. I need to be thinking about foreign language for at least my oldest soon! ☺️
