Really good looking pieces. Thanks for sharing and God bless.
Thanks Stan and God bless!
Awesome! Great video RJ 👍
Thank you, Jeremy!
Great vintage knife. Thanks brother 🙏
This is definitely a neat find. I wasn’t aware of this vintage series. I felt fortunate to run across this one. Thanks Michael!
That 1983 Schrade is a real looker! Great find, enjoyed seeing it
Thanks radar!
Sweet looking knives RJ. You folks have a wonderful evening and a wonderful week
Thank you, Jeff! You do the same!
@@RJsKnives you are very welcome RJ. Will do
Thank you for the info on the old USA Schrade collection.👍
You’re welcome, Gizmo! I’m glad you enjoyed the video.
Great video and just an awesome knife!
Thanks Tar Heel Steel!
Some very nice knives RJ! Great collection brother! Great job as always, sharing with the community!
You’re welcome, David! Thanks for watching!
Great looking trio, love the bone on the fourth, Thanks for the trip down memory lane.👍🇨🇦🇺🇸🔪
You’re welcome, Oxyfee! Thanks for watching!
I never knew that. Good video!
That’s amazing that I could show you something new! Thanks Stuart!
Great video RJ! Love Schrade knives from their early Walden days right up to their modern made China knives. Always quality made and so many great different series!
I agree, Ronald. I have always been a fan of theirs. Great working knives.
Man o man, that’s a gem of a muskrat!!! I’m going to check into those and see if I can find a green 1986!! Thank you for introducing me into this bad boy!!!
You’re welcome! I hope you find one. Happy hunting!
Great looking knives, I got the Heritage Bruin not long ago, great knife. Thanks for sharing RJ, be safe.
Thanks James, you too!
Nice score - lucky you for finding that 1983. I’ve got a few “Heritage” series H070 big stag folders that were supposed made before the Schrade factory closed. Still trying to research the Heritage series…
I found information on AAPK and Blade Forums. It does appear that the H series were made during the final years. Information on Schrade is spotty at best. Good luck researching and let me know if I can help.
Love the old Schrade (USA) knives! (Carrying my LB5 today, by the way.) Well, now I need to find one of these to add to my small muskrat collection!
They are out there. Happy hunting! Thanks William!
Very nice knives. I like that gray wood (pakawood?) . Looks really nice. Have a great day!
The gray wood is a laminate. I think pakkawood is a trademark of Frost knives but I’m not certain. It does look nice. Thanks Pocket_EDC!
@@RJsKnives I have a couple of gray Buck knives that advertise as pakkawood, but, that doesn't mean you're not right. The lawsuit may just be pending lol.
Really nice knife RJ.. one can really see the quality. Probably well worth the money too 👍
Thanks! I think this is a mostly overlooked series from Schrade. They are out there.
Doesn't sound like much now but that was some real money back then, and about double what an Old Timer would cost. My rent at that time was $265 a month and spending $30 on a knife seemed excessive. Very cool knife. Thanks for sharing.
I agree. I was in the Army in 1983 and an E-1 got paid 549.00 a month. Funny how you remember such things. So yes, it was a higher end knife in a bad economy. At least it lasted until 1986. Really cool knives but I think they predated the collector market. Thanks Mo!
You're gonna have to pick up the sequatchie river muskrat RJ. Andy did a great job on it.
I have been eyeballing that one. It’s on the list. Thanks Christoph!
@@RJsKnives Are you on the RC mailer? Proving to be popular they say it's going fast...
@@christophwilhelm6431 yes, I am. I am patient. I don’t subscribe to FOMO emails on day 1. Although I get why they do it.
@@RJsKnives Yes it's sales stimulus... but First Edition! 😄It's enough of a hit I'm sure it will be back with different covers. 🤔
$113 today. But one could do more with 36 bucks back then, A really great looking knife, very classy shield, the other group also nice looking with those wood scales, thanks for the video, RJ.
Thanks Jose! Inflation is killing us. I hope they get a handle on it. It is a great knife but back then it was a knife meant for collecting and probably not on many folks minds back then.
Thanks for showing that Muskrat, I was lucky enough to get a NOS 8801 red bone stockman. They are great knives for sure. While looking for more like the 8801 I fell into the Schrade special edition black hole ... 8 so far ... might go bankrupt ... help 😅😅😅😅😅😅
Help? I’m no help, I keep showing you cool knives that got me in trouble! Sounds like you have a handle on your collection. As far as missing pieces. Happy hunting, don’t get in trouble buying knives and let me know what you find!
@@RJsKnives I have picked up a Schrade made parker frost, the Western Boulder that I am going to post, a Old Timer special edition longhorn knife, a Schrade Lone star State, and my favorite the Schrade Longrifle special edition. Told you ... I fell down the rabbit hole !!!!!
@@oldphartsknives you sure did!
