- This is the Cadets 2013, 99-point, High Percussion, Finals Drum tape, Judged by Jeff Prosperie. "WOW!" (Fuzziness is from Him running from Pit to Battery). Enjoy.

This is that young, rookie-filled 2012 snareline paying off. I knew they'd have a good shot at the Sanford this year, and they're the guys to beat in 2014.

And he used to make fun of cadets all the time for only doing triplet rolls and explain that's why they were always so clean

+Ian Mahaffey a flam is when you play two notes, at the same time, but you don't hit the drum at the same time. one of the notes is accented too.

+Ian Mahaffey basically you play a grace note before an actual note. Try saying 'flam' accenting the syllables. So you'd have fl-am. That's basically what it sounds like but super slow.
Their gunna be a lot of bruised rookie egos at the 2014 audition camp... lol
Shouldve gotten a 19.9, closest to perfection in a while, and will be a while before we hear cleanliness like this again
Cavaliers 2000 and cadets 1987/2013 are the closest to perfection I have heard

I wasn't saying we are are as good as them, because I cannot even play their entire show let alone play it clean. But I can guarantee our level of cleanliness is just under if not right with their level because my Instructor worked with Paul Rennick in one of his high drum trophy years at Phantom (2006). And thank you for your kindness

Theres no videos of my high school this year on youtube. Not all our book sounds this clean but parts I cant even tell if other people are playing because they are playing at the exact same time as me

It seems logical, that yes, they would be better, but usually for some reason it never works that way for anyone. I would not be surprised if cadets did not win next year. I hope they do though.

that happens commonly in good drumlines. It doesnt mean you can compare that to these world champions. Their book is also extremely hard and at a level of clean that sounds distinctly different than the one you are describing. I applaud your drumline though for being that clean!
