Good idea. I was thinking about putting a fence with a gate from the house to the other fence. That would be good ventilation especially a chain link one.

I used garden iron gates (4) and connected them around the unit to keep dog away for same reason, works 👍

unless you have a mastiff, you could have literally made this cover about 50% shorter. A lot less materials and $$.
