I loved Blanky. Clowns vs. Spiders is so much fun. Legends and Lattes is so cozy and fun and a great palate cleanser from all the horror. The Rats was so good. What a great list.
Thank you so much Mindy! Clowns vs Spiders was an absolute blast. Legends and Lattes was such a comforting, cozy read. The Rats was bloody brutal! Happy Holidays!
You know how much I love Clowns vs Spiders. 😂 I love Legends and Lattes. So cozy and sweet. I was surprised to see a non-horror book on your list. Stirring the Sheets sounds heartbreaking. I’ll have to check out Maggie’s Grave. I’ve had A Short Stay in Hell and Burnt Offerings on my list since I heard you talk about them. What an amazing list of books! You’ve added to my TBR again. Thank you for that!
Absolute Pleasure! I am so glad you enjoyed the video! 😀Legends and Lattes was a warm, comforting read that I really needed at the time. Stirring The Sheets has, without spoiling anything, a curiously "optimistic" ending. I hope you enjoy the other books on my list. 📚
Great list buddy! I still need to read rats 😂 hoping I can squeeze it in before end of month! You’re one of the few people who enjoyed Holly as much as I did! Was surprised to see legends and lattes on the list, I still have to check that out!
Very interesting list! I’ve gotten to read Stirring the Sheets and I enjoyed it greatly as well. Looks like I’ve got some new books on my radar, cheers 🤘
Great list! I had two Sodergren books in my top 10 last year so I know the feeling 😅 I also really enjoyed A Short Stay in Hell - you did a good job describing how it feels to read that book!
I remember feeling the same about Stirring the Sheets. Literally my only requirement for The Rats is that many people are horribly attacked by rats 😂 This is high praise for Burnt Offerings!!
Thanks Alicia! I was deeply moved by Stirring The Sheets. The Rats is nasty and brutal, love it! 😂 I was surprised by how much I loved Burnt Offerings.
That scene from The Rats is one I’ll never forget. One of the most disturbing scenes I’ve ever read, another is in The Fog and like The Rats, The Fog is great 😎👍🏻
I read Burnt Offerings in July of 2020 and gave it 4 stars which means I really liked it but I'm fuzzy on the details. I'm going to blame it on the trauma of lockdown! A movie was made of it in 1976 and has a lot of actors I like and is on a streaming service I have. The preview looks kind of wonderful. Think I'll give it a try. I loved the 70s. Merry Christmas to you and your family!
I was surprised by how much I enjoyed Burnt Offerings as haunted houses is not my favorite horror trope. I have not yet seen the movie. Thank you! Merry Christmas to you and yours too! 🎄
Such a great list. Now, I rarely disagree with you, but unfortunately The Halloween Tree made my top ten list this year too, but not the good top ten 😮 I really want to read some Sodergren and you’ve completely sold me on Burnt Offerings
No worries my friend! 😂Books speak to us in different ways, and to be fair, Halloween Tree is very YA. Sodergren is awesome and I think you will enjoy Burnt Offerings.
Not looking forward to the five best and worst list this year. Most of the books has been meh or just average.Hoping for better reading experiences next year. But it seems like you have had a good time with your books. Merry Christmas. 🎄😊

Fantastic list. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much Reggie!

Thanks my friend! The Rats is fun but so graphic. Legends and Lattes was a comforting read and much needed at the time.
Great list! Burnt Offerings will be on my list of faves as well. Fantastic story. How the Skin Sheds was a good one!
Thank you Crystal! Burnt Offerings was such an original take on haunted houses. How The Skin Sheds was great.
Love the Rats! You need to read the other 2 books, Lair, and Domain. They are both really good too! 📚💚❤️
Thanks Angel! I am planning on reading both next year. 📚♥💚
Very interesting list! I’ve gotten to read Stirring the Sheets and I enjoyed it greatly as well. Looks like I’ve got some new books on my radar, cheers 🤘
Thanks Mate! Hope you get to enjoy other books on this list. 📚
Nice list! I love how passionate you are about some of these! I definitely added some to my TBR!
Thank you so much for the kind words. I hope you enjoy the books if and when you get to them.
Great list! I had two Sodergren books in my top 10 last year so I know the feeling 😅
I also really enjoyed A Short Stay in Hell - you did a good job describing how it feels to read that book!
Thank you so much Angyl! Seems we have the same taste in Sodergren! Merry Christmas! 🎄
I love the variety of genres and styles on your list!
Thank you so much Jen!
Sounds like you really loved these ones. I had never heard of burnt offerings 👌
Thanks Mate! Burnt Offerings is awesome.
So glad you enjoyed Legends and Lattes, Cliff. It’s a fun one. The Halloween Tree is another Bradbury book on my list.
It was a comforting read and much needed at the time. The Halloween Tree is a fun October read.

Agreed, that scene is pretty dark and disturbing. I still need to read The Fog. 😎📚
@@CliffsDarkGems You’ll know the scene when you get to it 🤣👍🏻
I loved Holly and Burnt Offerings. I have The Rats but I haven't read it yet. I love top ten lists
Thanks Michael. I highly recommend The Rats, but it is extremely graphic.
I'm with you! Burnt Offerings is a winner!
Absoblooduletely! 😂
@CliffsDarkGems 😂
Such a great list!
Thanks Nicole!

@@CliffsDarkGems I watched the movie last night and I loved it!
I’ll definitely be on the lookout for A Short Stay in Hell!
It is well worth a read.
Interesting list. Besides Clowns Vs Spiders, I read Legends and Lattes, and part of The Rats. Liked all 3. No t sure why I didn't finish The Rats
Thanks for watching Stuart! Legends and Lattes was a comforting read. The Rats is very brutal and nasty, definitely not for everyone.

I liked Rats. 😀
Great book. 😀

These were actually all my 5 star reads for the year. I also read plenty of stinkers in 2024. Merry Christmas to you too! 🎄🎅
