Neheer really just be dropping some of the best weapon mods for FO4. All his weapons fit the game’s aesthetic so well that they fit better than most of the vanilla weapons.
I always feel like Fallout, at least the newer Fallouts, always need a good balance between Past, Retro-Redesigned Present, and Retro-Futuristic Weaponry. It’s cool to see a Tommy Gun next to something like a wood and metal furnished G11 which is likewise next to something like the 10mm SMG in the Fallout world.

@@cali4806 I've only played through the original and Redux of the first Metro game but in that instance, I felt bad for the Bastard gun because it's not long till you get your companion's Kalash after he leaves it behind in the vent and it's outclassed from then on. It's basically the Chinese pistol of the metro series, a cool but terrible gun.

Alot of work and extra hassle for what is probably just a couple seconds of cutscene, plus implementing a whole cutscene is a little different than weapon animations. Im sure other modders especially some of the better animation modders could do it, but really why would they?
I love the custom pickup animations for the gun, I know it would get tedious after about the second new character but imagine if we had similar animations for picking up the baton and 10mm pistol in vault 111, would have been so cool
Neheer’s weapon always seem to follow Bethesda’s Modern retro-design philosophy so well that if someone were to show me these guns before I knew they were mods I’d probably say they were from Bioshock, Prey (2017), or newer Fallouts right off the bat.
A top notch shotgun design that is lore-friendly, created by the community, free of charge, for a game for which the original developer didn't even care to make a regular pump action shotgun...
Reminds me quite a bit of the "cranky" shotgun, a pipe revolver shotgun that was part of FO4's concept art but never made it into the game until modders added it.
Honestly, this mod does something with weapon skins that I wish that not just other modders would do, but Bethesda as well. That's having the gun have the worn, antique look when out in the world, with skins that make it look like new available through customization. I would give money to the Creation Club for a "factory" paintjob for all the Vanilla weapons, because to me it just makes sense. Most things in the wasteland are old, and dingy, and beat up, but if you're re-painting something then you have the luxury and resources to do a proper restoration job and make it look good as new again. In fact, my only complaint with this mod's approach is not making the paints even cost the Oil that Vanilla paintjobs do. I'd have gone for Oil for all paints, plus Abraxo for the "factory" paints (or maybe the Acid, Antiseptic, and Fiberglass that you get from scrapping it) to represent doing some general maintenance and cleaning on top of re-painting. I just find that immersive.
Can’t lie, if I were animating this weapon I’d give it 6 round and make it so that you reload one at a time. Makes more sense than carrying around a whole fuckin bunch of 4 shot cylinders that have to be heavy enough to withstand shotgun pressures
Spent 5 minutes trying to figure out how the gun would work. Settled on the rear pumping motion of the pump turning the revolving cylinder. Then detaching and settling into the forward position on the forward motion.
The shotgun mod looks pretty great, I'll test the days on the X Box one. Conclusion the Hell-Jumper Outfit Mod is very cool, you could present it here on your TH-cam channel, thanks in advance
Love the select weaponry that has came out including the select power armor on my mod load order hope to get an all-in-one soon but also comes out with something newer like an automatic pistol of sorts and including maybe a select armor and there's some ideas out go with a little bit of an NCR look and hope it's a full set of head and chest arms and legs and maybe some clothing attachments maybe
They need to make a mod (mods) that replace the vanilla shotgun with this, the vanilla assault rifle with the select assault rifle and the pipe weapons with the select machine gun
Damn, that ENB looked good, is that Reactor ENB? It seems like it, the lens flares and the soft blue hues. I think the lens flares are a little too absurd at times, and the performance could be a little better, but im pretty sure thats the ENB in this video.
Even though the shotgun was nice, I hated the quest. It said to read the terminals for what to do. You need key cards to get through the dungeon which are supposed to be carried by staff but they're just on random tables strewn about the place with the last one for the exit being underwater in the submerged bathroom like it's obvious to look there on a stall door in the corner not floating just sitting there.
I like all of the fine detail that went into this mod, the animations, the skins, a quest to get it, etc. Very nice! But... I don't get the design. Why would anyone engineer a pump-action revolver? Just mag feed it. Or tube feed it. Or get rid of the pump action. Heck, even drop the barrel to the bottom where the pump is while getting rid of the pump like a Chiappa Rhino to lower the bore axis to help with recoil. Functionally, I just don't get this mashup. Sure, it looks interesting, but ... what function does it serve? No wonder it was just an abandoned prototype. LOL
Wasn’t a prototype. The Fallout Universe is just wacky like that. The older weapons follow our Modern Design Philosophy but their futuristic weaponry always just gets shunted out into the world with very little testing which is why guns like the Pancor Jackhammer and the H&K CAWS are commonplace in the Fallout Universe.
Is it just me, or do others wish that paint jobs, stock colors, and in the case of this weapon; the metal accents required junk items to make them. Like the leather stock would require wood, leather, adhesive, and like yellow paint. For the gold metal accent, you would need gold, steel, adhesive, oil, and something else. And this extends out to other mods as well. I just feel like it kind of breaks immersion a little bit by changing out the look of a weapon just by saying so.

Pretty good, it's basically a shambler from metro exodus. I just wish he devoted as much effort to the basic animations as he does on unnecessary details. That exaggerated recoil and pump feels stiff and over the top. It's an amazing work nonetheless.
Okay, call me a nerd, but this revolving drum makes no sense. In actual pump action weapon shotgun shells are stored *in pump*. But the pump in this weapon just exists with a ton of weight and stands for nothing. Yeah... And texture with animation are great
Hi can someone ask for me it in the mode community to make two mode from me please and thank you. This one weapon mode and the other is per-war soldier mode. The weapon are from the terminator and is the plasma guns. The per-war soldier mode they is basement in the home you start in where your per-war equipment is in boxed and your per-war laser rifle is in too with ammunition too.
Meh I'll stick with my plasma scattergun and double barrel shotgun! That thing would jam up like crazy IRL Exposed parts where grit can get in is a big mistake. If you dropped it it'd not work until you stripped and cleaned it. However I just don't use firearm mods too much. Energy weapons and melee weapon mods are my style. The exception being my hold out pistol. The M19, STI 2011 etc are out there and along with a lot of others are very nice.
The whole idea of a revolver-esque drum for the rounds instead of a traditional tube I think is a fabulous one! This is one sexy looking weapon!
Some rifles and shotguns have that in real life also funny enough

All of the "Select" weapons take up too much space on console for a mod that only adds 1 weapon. 😮💨

My guess is the pump rotates the cylinder like the shotguns from Borderlands 1.
Theres nothing conceptually wrong with it mechanically it's just an unusual method for cocking the action and indexing the cylinder.
@@MediumRareOpinions I mean, it's heavy and complex. For the drum rotation a lever could be used. It's lighter and closer to drum.
