This is just the normal behavior of this car model when it gets dark outside. Probably I was filming that in the evening, so the car switched the optics to the dark scheme.
I can't really say. I could Install the GROM without problem and it worked. I did not need to go to the dealer and unlock anything. But I cannot say, If this is the same for any model year and any country.
Ist seems that the early models are just not capable of id-text (mine is a 2005 model year). I think the multi-CD changers and later models can show it, but I have to live with that flaw.
