Great video! I did the same in my V50 back in 2018 but with a 1 din radio unit. I also cut of the special "volvo" radio cable plug and soldered on a regular ISO socket and mounted a new DAB+ antenna
what singel din did you use?

Well, the installation procedure was butchery style, to a degree. More importantly, apart from entertainment, have you retained all the car function controls including access to the car settings menu?

Yes, but it's a bit of a guessing game on what it's set to but so far it's not a problem but I'm considering making a Y adapter for the cable that goes to the OEM display and then installing it somewhere a hidden like the glove box but we'll see. // The V50 owner in the vid

it should be almost the same. I can't say if the cable diagram are gonna be the same
Why, just let it be original. It looked way better before, now it has lost it's charm.
