I had given up having a radio after my battery died and jumping it with cables on the wrong posts sent the radio into electrical disconnect. After charging the battery the right way, the radio was in the security mode and error codes kept flashing. My friend who put the cables on the wrong posts felt so guilty that she wouldn’t give up researching till she found your you tube. Me? I read the car manual that said “surrender!” Take it to your nearest dealer for your specific radio serial number. I knew that would be costly and not worth it to me. I was resigned to living with my phone speaker. But, Eureka!!🎉 She showed me your video and now my 2011 Acura RDX has a radio! Just followed your instructions and my S/N of 8 digits showed up on the screen. That’s all I needed for that website along with my vin number, email and phone. It gave me three codes to try. And I just kept punching them in and all of a sudden the radio came on. Once I turned it off and back on and it asked for a code again. I re-entered the first code of 5 digits and the radio came back, permanently that time. Just keep entering those codes they’ll eventually work!❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉 Big Thanks to you, sir, for your kindness to share this information!!!
Thank You! It worked for my 2003 Acura MDX. Also, you can get serial number by holding the 1 and 6 down on radio while off. Then turn it on while still holding the 1 and six down. Two sets of letter/numbers will appear. That is the serial number.

Do not get confused the L number and the U number you put them together for example let’s say U is U3001 and L is L9988 you put those number together on the website when it asks for the serial number so it will be 30019988 this an example hope it helped:)

No matter how many times I said I had ABSOLUTELY NO MONEY they continued to tell me they needed $189 to do a diagnostic check so they could see what was wrong. EVEN tho I constantly kept reiterating that I just NEEDED a quote. Which I knew for a fact they could give me a piece of paper stating what they charge for what service for example if it was my alternator they have a price already set that they charge for the part& labor. It was the most exhausting, disrespectful, prejudice act I've seen in a long time.

Just a side note if you have a screen asking for only 4 digits Try 0000 Most Acura’s asked customers to set a pin after you unlock the code lol before you drive yourself crazy pushing buttons and wasting summer time try pin 0000 Hope this helps
