If you have a 2007 Acura TSX, and know the radio code, turn on the key, without the car running, press and hold the radio power button for about 10 seconds, until the display above the radio shows code, then turn the right knob of the radio, it will change the number on the display from 1 - 9, you will turn the knob to the first number you want, then push the right button in just once, then turn the knob to the second number, push the knob in, then turn to the third number - push the right knob button in, do this for all five radio code numbers, after the last number is put in, the radio will work again. If you cannot find the radio code in the owners manual, you will find it on the side of the glove box after you open it, it's on a sticker stuck to the outside of the glove box.
How about if you have the radio code, but the last number is a letter b? I can’t figure out how to enter the letter b. I’ve tried randomly putting in 1 thru 6 and that didn’t work either and now I’m locked out from putting in the code.
Is it normal i pulled a used acura 08 tsx out of a dealer and came with no manual ? Acura is charging me 75 $ for the code for my simple radio ???? Where else can i find this serial number
How about if your code for he radio is 4 numbers and a letter b? How do you put the b in when it only take numbers 1 thru 6? Since it was 1 thru 6, I tried all six numbers as the last number and now locked out and you no longer can put in any numbers. So I plan on disconnecting the battery to see if it’ll reset. But than, I’ll have the same problem and not know how to enter the letter b.
So, I just purchased a used TSX at a small used car dealer. 2006. When test driving I noticed the radio was not working, it was looking for the radio code. So I entered it. Radio now works fine. However the clock won't stop flashing. I have read the manual and searched many forums. The clock will not allow me to reset it. Also I cannot access anything from the right knob (Tune plus sound) I have pulled the radio fuse, nothing. Radio still works, clock still flashes. I have tried changing the time with the #4 and #5 buttons, again nothing. Any advice from anyone out there? Besides going to the dealer. If I cannot find any other answers, I will nexr try disconnecting the battery and starting over. Thanks all!
Sadly, my Acura was broken into recently and all the contents in the glove box including manual and card were stolen. I tried the website but it asks for the radio serial number (which I don't have). Grr, dealership it is then.
It baffles me why factory radios have security systems built in. If a thief has the time and patience to disassemble the dash, unbolt and separate the radio from the chassis the have earned themselves a mediocre cheap radio.
+germanshepherd13 well this video was helpful afterall with some more research. it helped in that if got me to find the code, the tech did write it down in maintenance manual so this did help. it was not working for me so did some more online reading and found out that the FM signal interferes with the input of the code. some people removed antenna, others went into a parking garage where FM signal is weak, others just kept on punching the code in into it accepted it. I am under a carport but still get good fm signal but I went out and tried it again and this time it worked. just keep on trying and sooner or later it may accept it.

Same. Navi says "codee" and won't allow me to try it again.
Unplug your car battery for 20 mins and plug it back in, it resets then it should be able give you more chances to put it in

My 2006 tsx radio reads “Error E”, what do I do. Can’t afford to take it to the dealer.
